TTC 2026 is part of BCA’s efforts to strengthen the capacity and relevance of SMA/MA teachers across Sulawesi through the application of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Teachers across Sulawesi demonstrated strong enthusiasm for the program, with more than 350 teams registering from six provinces: North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Southeast Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, and Central Sulawesi. Participants began with an online preliminary round, which narrowed the field to 12 semifinalist teams. These semifinalists then took part in an intensive training program (bootcamp) before advancing to the final round.
BCA EVP of Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility Hera F. Haryn said, “At Teacher Tech Championship, teachers are not simply competing; they are investing in their own professional development. We hope each innovation created through this program will deliver contextual, mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning experiences for students.”
As a form of appreciation, Bakti BCA provides project funding, full accommodation, certificates, and education savings for the winners. For the top three teams, Bakti BCA also facilitates official copyright registration with Indonesia’s Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) for their innovations and supports them in competing at the national level.
“We believe that meaningful change in education always begins with teachers who are willing to keep learning and growing. Through Bakti Pendidikan, the education pillar under Bakti BCA, BCA remains committed to supporting efforts to improve the quality of Indonesia’s human resources,” Hera concluded.
