Jakarta, 15 October 2026 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is once again holding the Runvestasi 2026 virtual competition, an annual event that combines running and walking with investment management. Themed “Wealth Life Balance – From Miles to Millions,” the event is expected to encourage a healthy lifestyle, physically through running and financially through investing, while offering a chance to win attractive prizes.
Registration and the investment challenge are open from 1 July to 15 November 2026, while the virtual race itself will take place from 1-15 November 2026. For Runvestasi 2026, BCA is also partnering with singer and running enthusiast Sheryl Sheinafia to encourage people to live a more balanced, healthy, and well-planned life.
BCA Director Haryanto T. Budiman said, “We are very excited to bring back Runvestasi 2026, and we appreciate the high level of public participation last year. We believe that a sustainable quality of life requires a balance between physical fitness and financial health. We hope Runvestasi can continue to raise public awareness of the importance of managing both, in line with our commitment to expanding financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia.”
Haryanto explained that this activity reflects how much running and investing have in common. Reaching a running target and achieving a financial target both require the same principles, including commitment, discipline, and consistency.
The public can register for Runvestasi 2026, which is designed to be interactive by integrating a virtual race challenge and an investment challenge, as follows:
- Virtual Race Challenge: Participants can walk or run (indoor/outdoor) with a minimum accumulated distance of 10 km, recorded via the GERAK app or an integrated smartwatch. Every 1 km covered is worth 10 points (multiples apply).
- Investment Challenge: Participants can collect up to 250 points by purchasing Rupiah-denominated Mutual Fund products through the myBCA app, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
By completing both challenges, participants can collect points and enter the Top Leaderboard to win various prizes with a total value of hundreds of millions of rupiah. All winners will be announced via Instagram @gerak.now and the official BCA website. Sheryl Sheinafia said, “I am very happy and appreciate BCA’s commitment to presenting Runvestasi 2026. To celebrate the event, BCA will also hold a “Flag Off Ceremony” on Jl. MH Thamrin, Jakarta, during Car Free Day on 1 November 2026.
