Supporting the Mobility of Thousands Santri, BCA Donates Operational Vehicles to Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School

Kediri, 10 October 2026 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) presented one unit of a Toyota Hiace operational vehicle to Hidayatul Mubtadiin Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School, Kediri, East Java, on Thursday (8/10). This assistance reflects BCA's commitment to supporting smooth conduct of educational activities and mobility for the santri (students), while strengthening its long-term relationship with one of the largest Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia.

BCA Director Widodo Mulyono stated, "BCA is constantly striving to deliver contributions that provide tangible and sustainable benefits to the community. Through the handover of this operational vehicle, we hope to support the mobility and various educational and development activities of the santri at the Hidayatul Mubtadiin Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School."

Hidayatul Mubtadiin Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School is one of the largest Islamic boarding schools in East Java, with a total of 55,000 santri. BCA has maintained a strategic partnership with the institution since 2024 and currently manages the tuition payment channels for 17,000 santri. The operational vehicle will be utilized to support daily administrative operations and educational activities across the campus.

This support aligns with BCA’s commitment to making a positive contribution and creating sustainable benefits for society through various social initiatives. This commitment is realized through Bakti BCA, the company's Creating Shared Value (CSV) program encompassing education, healthcare, the environment, culture, as well as MSME and village development. Within its education pillar in 2025 alone, under Bakti BCA, the bank allocated IDR 159.5 billion in social responsibility funding toward these initiatives, supporting 700 Bakti BCA scholarship recipients and empowering 32 schools.

"Moving forward, BCA will continue to develop initiatives that deliver a positive impact and create shared value for the Indonesian people," said Widodo.
