Jakarta, 29 August 2026 - The journey of Genera-Z Berbakti 2026, organized by PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) through Bakti BCA, has drawn to a successful close. All winning teams have returned from their designated Bakti BCA assisted tourism villages after completing a month of community service, leaving a profound impression on both the students and the local communities served.
Upon returning from their deployment, the four winning teams delivered their final activity reports directly to a panel of judges from BCA. The panel evaluated and determined the top team based on four core parameters: presentation quality, program implementation, tangible impact, and long-term sustainability.
Following comprehensive presentations and in-depth Q&A sessions, the final standings for Genera-Z Berbakti 2026 were declared as follows:
- Best Team: Amerta Pertiwi Team from Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR)
- Runner-Up I: Pelita Team from Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD)
- Runner-Up II: KATALIS Team from Universitas Indonesia (UI)
- Runner-Up III: Laskar Selasik Team from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM)
“Congratulations to all the winners of Genera-Z Berbakti 2026. You are all champions who have demonstrated exceptional consistency and commitment in executing your plans on the ground. BCA deeply appreciates the dedication shown over the past month across Bakti BCA's assisted tourism villages. All four teams have proven their ability to drive real, positive change directly within local communities. Moving forward, BCA remains committed to empowering Indonesia's youth to continuously innovate, create meaningful impact, and grow into strong, principled leaders,” stated BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono, who attended the final evaluation session.
The finalists expressed deep gratitude for the insights gained during the final evaluation stage. Below are reflections shared by the teams at the conclusion of their journey:
Amerta Pertiwi UNAIR: From Initial Doubts to Emerging as the Best Team
The Amerta Pertiwi Team from UNAIR never expected to claim the Best Team title in Genera-Z Berbakti 2026, as they entered their deployment in Patakbanteng Tourism Village, Wonosobo, without setting unrealistic expectations. For these young scholars, the final assessment served as a valuable reminder that social programs must be held to high standards of accountability.
“We viewed the final evaluation as a collaborative knowledge-sharing session, where we served as messengers from the field. Should the opportunity arise, we are eager to further explore the vast and self-reliant potential of Patakbanteng Village,” said Regina, a member of the Amerta Pertiwi Team.
Pelita UNPAD: Seeking Clarity Through Reflection
The Pelita Team from UNPAD likened the final evaluation session to an extended thesis defense. For them, the moment was a sobering reminder that their initiative at the Gunung Padang Megalithic Site Tourism Village in Cianjur was far more than a routine community project.
“We had to think critically to grasp the full context of the judges' questions, especially since every response was probed further. It naturally required deep reflection before formulating our answers,” shared Ghifari, a member of the Pelita Team.
KATALIS UI: Deep Impressions Driving Confidence
The journey of the KATALIS Team from UI in Kakaskasen Dua Tourism Village left a lasting impression on its members. This profound experience served as a solid foundation when presenting their final report, enabling the team to convey their outcomes and accountabilities seamlessly.
“Initially, we thought our ideas would remain on paper. In the end, we went through every challenge together, growing from acquaintances into a cohesive unit that reached this milestone,” reflected Divani, representing the KATALIS Team.
Laskar Selasik UGM: Invaluable Lessons from the Final Round
Serving in Terong Creative Tourism Village, the Laskar Selasik Team found great value in the constructive feedback received during their presentation. They embraced the evaluation as part of a continuous learning process.
“What pleased us most was that the judges did not merely evaluate; they guided us and offered actionable solutions. It felt like an enriching academic lecture,” noted Faruq, a member of the Laskar Selasik Team.
The Genera-Z Berbakti program embodies BCA's commitment to empowering the younger generation to contribute directly to tourism village development in Indonesia through a nationwide call for proposals. This year, the initiative received over 260 proposals from 98 state universities. Following a rigorous selection process, eight teams advanced to the judging round, with four winning teams earning the opportunity to complete an intensive, month-long deployment across four Bakti BCA assisted tourism villages.
“It has been an absolute privilege to accompany these four teams throughout their journey, from the presentation halls to the villages, and back to their respective campuses. BCA hopes that all participants will carry forward the valuable insights and positive experiences gained through this program as crucial stepping stones for their personal and professional growth,” concluded Antonius Widodo Mulyono.
