Service Begins, Four Genera-Z Berbakti Winners Begin Program Implementation in Villages

Jakarta, 27 July 2026 – Genera-Z Berbakti 2026 is entering a new phase. After a series of competitive selections, bootcamps, and final rounds, the four best teams have been selected as winners of this call for student proposals program organized by Bakti BCA. The winners will then implement their ideas directly in Bakti BCA's fostered tourism villages, with the following details:

  1. Laskar Selasik (UGM) Team at Terong Creative Tourism Village, Belitung;
  2. MEGA LESTARI (UNPAD) Team at Gunung Padang Site Tourism Village, Cianjur;
  3. Amerta Pertiwi (UNAIR) Team at Patakbanteng Tourism Village, Wonosobo;
  4. KATALIS (UI) Team at Kakaskasen Dua Tourism Village, Tomohon.

Nicholas Saputra, Bakti BCA Ambassador and Genera-Z Berbakti 2026 panelist, said the four winners offered solutions worthy of implementation in their respective target villages. "We hope all selected campuses can identify issues and offer relevant solutions in the field. Hopefully, all winners will gain a better understanding of community needs once they're in the field, allowing them to prioritize and refine their respective programs," Nicholas said.

Before departing for their destination villages, the 2026 Genera-Z Berbakti winners participated in a bootcamp to receive training on community needs mapping, program planning, team building, data processing, and knowledge about health, safety, and the environment. Fauzyiah, a member of the UGM team, described the bootcamp as a valuable experience to strengthen her team's preparedness before engaging directly with the community.

"This bootcamp has really helped us improve our skills and reminded us that as young people, we must continue learning, developing our skills, and staying on track towards our goals," said the woman known as Uzi.

Entering the implementation phase, each team has also prepared themselves to face the various challenges that await them in the field. "The most important thing is to remain adaptive, resilient, and always prioritize solutions when facing challenges," said Ghifari, a member of the UNPAD team.

Separately, Sarah from the UI team assessed that unity and open communication were the main foundations for the program's success. "When there are so many ideas, the most important thing is that we can make decisions together for the program's success," Sarah said.

BCA EVP Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility Hera F. Haryn hopes that Genera-Z Berbakti 2026 can be a platform for students to train themselves to make real contributions to the community. "The selection of the Genera-Z Berbakti 2026 winners marks the beginning of a crucial stage of this program, namely community service. We are confident that the winners can carry out the programs that have been prepared smoothly with the community. We hope that this service can be an important provision for students for their future; and the community to be more empowered and resilient," said Hera.
