Preparing a Generation of Character, BCA Shares Knowledge at Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto

Purwokerto, 2 July 2026 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) presented a public lecture titled BCA Sharing Knowledge (BBI) at Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto on Thursday (2 July 2026). The BBI program aims to provide students with insights into relevant issues to foster a high-quality and competitive young generation.

The BBI (Brainstorming for the Future) session at Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto was attended by BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono, with the theme "Sharpening Your Edge: Skills and Attitude for the Next Chapter." Attended by more than 400 students from various faculties and study programs, this was the first time the BBI program had visited Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto.

In this BBI session, Antonius Widodo emphasized the importance of having a growth mindset, where personal abilities can be developed through hard work and dedication.

Furthermore, Antonius Widodo also reminded students to identify and develop relevant skills for the future. He hopes that the students participating in this BBI session can become part of the generation that will usher in the Golden Indonesia era of 2045.

"BCA wants to prepare students here for the next chapter of their lives as the nation's future leaders. By building strong skills and character, we hope this new generation will be better prepared to face future challenges," said Antonius Widodo.

He added that BCA regularly holds the BBI program as a form of support for the development of superior human resources (HR). First held in 2023, this program is attended by thousands of students each year. Last year's BBI program was attended by more than 6,300 students from nine universities who attended to hear BCA's board of directors share their knowledge and experiences.

"We want this BCA Berbagi Ilmu program to be a space for sharing experiences with students as future leaders. With this, BCA hopes to contribute to improving the quality of human resources in Indonesia," he said.

In line with this achievement orientation, Hera F. Haryn, BCA EVP of Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility, stated that BCA is always open to opportunities for collaboration between BCA and higher education institutions. Hera stated that this collaboration will have a positive impact on all parties, both BCA work units and the Indonesian people, by helping improve the quality of the next generation who will soon enter the workforce.

Hera believes that developing a growth mindset and the skills of students can be the foundation for Indonesia's economic development. Therefore, BCA remains committed to supporting the younger generation in preparing themselves for a future where they can contribute positively to society.

"BCA believes that developing Indonesia's human resources is a crucial step towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Programs like BBI are evidence of Bakti BCA's ongoing commitment to this target," Hera concluded.
