Not Just Encouraging Spending, BCA Helps Young Generation Manage Multiple Financial Goals Through the Rupiah Pocket Feature on myBCA

Tangerang, 6 February 2026 – Amid the BCA Expoversary 2026 event, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) reminded the younger generation to continue managing their finances optimally. This aligns with the latest innovation on the myBCA application, the Rupiah Pocket feature.

BCA Director Santoso stated that BCA Expoversary 2026 is not merely about encouraging young people to shop, even though the event does offer low-interest programs for various products such as Home Ownership Loans (KPR), Vehicle Loans (KKB), and Motorcycle Loans (KSM).

“For the younger generation, in the context of Expoversary, we do offer many things that seem spending-oriented. But don’t forget that myBCA also has personal financial management features,” said Santoso after the opening of BCA Expoversary 2026 at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Banten, on Thursday (05/02/2026).

He explained that the Rupiah Pocket feature on the myBCA application can help young people manage their personal finances. The goal is for them to understand their spending profile and adjust it to their income.

Santoso gave an example: if young customers want to purchase a vehicle, they can first save for the down payment through this feature. Once sufficient funds are accumulated, they can then apply for a KKB loan at BCA.

“This is a feature that we will continue to develop going forward. The idea is to encourage young customers to start thinking about when to spend and when to save,” Santoso added.

Through Rupiah Pocket on myBCA, customers can create up to 20 “pockets” within a single account—for example, for children’s education funds, year-end vacations, gadget purchases, or emergency funds. Each pocket can be personalized with a name, category selection, target amount, and regular deposits to help achieve the customer’s goals. With this feature, customers can manage their finances in a more systematic and personalized way.

Rupiah Pocket is also designed to support customers’ financial planning through the Pocket Lock feature. This feature allows customers to lock funds in specific pockets so they are not used for other needs, particularly for medium- to long-term savings goals. Customers can independently set target amounts and regular deposit periods, making the saving process more structured and consistent. The Pocket Lock feature can be unlocked at any time without penalty via BCA ATMs or branch offices. More information about Rupiah Pocket can be accessed at bca.id/poketrupiah.

Meanwhile, BCA President Director Hendra Lembong projected that the potential for credit growth from the individual segment, including the younger generation, will be quite significant in 2026. Moreover, Hendra noted that BCA Expoversary 2026 offers relatively competitive interest rates. However, he reminded young people not to forget to save even as they are encouraged to shop at the event.

“So it’s fine to take credit with us, but if possible, the remaining money should be saved properly, so your savings can also grow,” said Hendra.

BCA Expoversary 2026, which is currently underway, offers several attractive interest rates. One of them is BCA Home Ownership Loans (KPR) with an interest rate of 1.69% eff. p.a., fixed for 1 year, along with a 50% provision fee discount and a 5% life insurance discount.

In addition, BCA Vehicle Loans (KKB) offer a special interest rate of 2.15% flat p.a. for a 3-year tenor and administrative fee discounts of up to Rp900,000. Meanwhile, BCA Motorcycle Loans (KSM) feature promotions including down payments starting from 6.9%, special interest rates starting from 5.69%, and an administrative fee discount of Rp200,000
