Aceh Tamiang, 24 December 2025 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA), through its corporate shared value initiative under the Bakti BCA, has distributed humanitarian assistance to flood victims in Kualasimpang, Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh, on Monday (22/12). The aid includes food and beverages, clothing for infants, children, and adults, baby diapers, sanitary pads, medicines, tents, sleeping mats, folding beds (velbed), and blankets.
In collaboration with the Indonesian National Armed Forces - Army (Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Darat/TNI AD), Bakti BCA has also supported the construction of sanitation facilities, the drilling of clean water wells, and the installation of solar panels to supply electricity for water pumps. The assistance was handed over directly by BCA Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility EVP Hera F. Haryn to the disaster-affected community on Monday (22/12).
“Through Bakti BCA, we extend our deepest condolences to the people of Aceh Tamiang affected by this disaster. We understand that the floods have had a significant impact on their daily lives. To help accelerate recovery, we have provided humanitarian aid along with sanitation facilities and solar panel installation. We hope this assistance will be beneficial for the community. BCA committed to being present and contributing to strengthening community resilience in disaster-affected areas,” said Hera F. Haryn.
On the same occasion, Head of BCA Syariah Medan Branch Office, Albert Angkasa, also delivered assistance to affected residents, consisting of bottled drinking water, food, biscuits, and clothing.
In addition to Aceh Tamiang, Bakti BCA has also distribution aid to disaster-affected communities in Batu Hula Village, Batang Toru, South Tapanuli; and Nagari Muaro Pingai, Junjung Sirih, Solok, West Sumatra.
The assistance delivered by Bakti BCA across Aceh Tamiang, Batang Toru, and Junjung Sirih comprised 520 kg of rice; 3,000 bottles of mineral water; approximately 1,200 packs of biscuits; around 350 cans of sardines; more than 900 bottles of UHT milk; 36 ready-to-eat meal packages; three 4×6-meter barracks tents; 15 camp beds; 80 blankets; over 600 pieces of clothing for children and adults; nearly 1,000 items of women’s underwear; more than 800 dozen baby diapers; around 600 dozen sanitary pads; 45 sleeping mats; as well as medicines, multivitamins, and eucalyptus oil. the provision of 5,000-liter water tanks, and the installation of MCK facilities at all three locations.
In early December, Bakti BCA visited several disaster-affected areas in Medan and Langkat, North Sumatra. Assistance was distributed at the Evacuation Post on Jalan Pancar, Lk 8, Hamdan Sub-district, Medan Maimun District, Medan City, as well as at the Integrated Command Post at Koramil 09, Kebun Lada, Hinai District, Langkat Regency. The aid comprised 550 cartons of mineral water, 70 cartons of instant noodles, 912 packs of biscuits, 4,200 tablets of medicines and multivitamins, and 100 bottles of eucalyptus oil.
Prior to this, BCA’s collaboration with the TNI was also conducted through the delivery of humanitarian assistance to disaster-affected communities across several locations in Aceh and North Sumatra, including Sibolga City. The aid was dispatched via Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta on Friday (28/11) and comprised essential supplies such as staple food packages, mineral water, blankets, baby diapers, medicines, multivitamins, tents, and portable beds.
