Mataram, 21 November 2025 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA), through its Bakti BCA Education initiative, held the BCA Berbagi Ilmu (BBI) program. This time, Nahdlatul Ulama University Nusa Tenggara Barat (UNU NTB) took the turn to host the 8th BBI lecture in 2025, which took place on Friday (21/11) at the NTB Islamic Center Ballroom. More than 700 UNU NTB excited students had the opportunity to gain valuable insights in preparing for their future, particularly in developing relevant skills and attitudes for the next chapter of their lives.
The public lecture, themed “Sharpening Your Edge: Skills and Attitude for the Next Chapter”, was delivered directly by BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono, and attended by UNU NTB Rector Dr. Baiq Mulianah, M.Pd.I, members of the academic community, and BCA management.
BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono stated, “In an ever-changing era, a person’s excellence is not only determined by knowledge, but also by relevant attitudes and skills. Through BBI, we want to encourage students to continuously sharpen their strengths, think adaptively, and build resilient character so they are ready to face the next chapter in their professional lives.”
UNU NTB Rector Dr. Baiq Mulianah, M.Pd.I, expressed her appreciation for the presence of BBI on campus: “We highly appreciate BCA’s presence among UNU NTB students. This public lecture is an important moment for all of us, especially our beloved students, to broaden their understanding of the professional world and the importance of building professional attitudes early on. We hope this collaboration will continue in order to produce an excellent and competitive young generation.”
Through BBI, BCA continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the development of high-quality, adaptive Indonesian human resources who are ready to face global challenges. The program also serves as a bridge between industry and education, reinforcing BCA’s contribution to realizing the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045.
Throughout 2025, BCA Berbagi Ilmu has visited several universities across Indonesia, reaching more than 5,117 students. The BBI program at UNU NTB is part of a public lectures series held at various universities in 2025, including Brawijaya University, University of Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University, IPB University, Andalas University, Widya Mandala Catholic University, and Multimedia Nusantara University.
“We believe that the nation’s future is determined by the quality of its young generation. Through BCA Berbagi Ilmu, we aim to ignite a spirit of learning that is not only oriented toward academic achievement, but also toward building strong character and resilient attitudes. This is the true provision for facing a constantly changing world, while serving as a foundation for making real contributions to society,” Widodo concluded.
In addition to BBI, as part of its consistent support for youth development, BCA also introduced the “Genera-Z Berbakti” under the Bakti BCA umbrella program. This program engages students in community service through funding, mentoring, and support for scientific publications.
BCA also consistently implements various sustainable initiatives with social impact under the Bakti BCA program. These initiatives are grounded in the belief that empowered individuals can empower their communities and contribute to ecosystem preservation, creating a cycle of sustainable positive impact. Bakti BCA programs span multiple fields, including education (Bakti Pendidikan), health (Bakti Kesehatan), cultural preservation (Bakti Budaya), community empowerment (Desa Bakti BCA), and environmental conservation (Bakti Lingkungan).

Preparing for the Future Professional Work with Skills and Positive Attitudes – BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono spoke at the BBI public lecture at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama NTB (UNU NTB), Friday (21/11). Amid national efforts to increase the gross enrollment rate (GER) in higher education, which currently stands at only 32 percent, the role of private universities such as UNU NTB is becoming increasingly crucial. The government targets GER to reach 38 percent by 2029, yet challenges remain for university graduates entering the workforce across various industries. BCA Berbagi Ilmu (BBI) serves as a bridge to strengthen student readiness in facing dynamic times, while expanding collaboration between industry and higher education.
