Bogor, November 13, 2025 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) hosted the 2025 Bakti BCA National Summit, bringing 700 Bakti Champions, the recipients of the Bakti BCA Scholarship, both onsite and online. This hybrid event marked the culmination of development and capacity building programs for all Bakti Champions in 2025. BCA Director Antonius Widodo joined virtually, while EVP Corporate Communications & Social Responsibility BCA Hera F. Haryn attended in person.
During the main session held on Wednesday (12/11), BCA Director Vera Eve Lim and Bakti BCA Ambassador Nicholas Saputra took part in an Executive Sharing and Inspirational Talk. They provided valuable insights to motivate the Bakti Champions as they prepare for their future professional journeys and contributions for the nation.
The 2025 National Summit was designed to strengthen the relationship between BCA and Bakti Champions. The event is equipping students with career ready competencies and fostering a commitment to giving back which is deeply embedded within Bakti BCA program and served as a moment of appreciation for the participants’ achievements throughout the program.
BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono said, “We believe that as young generation, Bakti Champions have tremendous potential to bring meaningful impact to Indonesia. Through the Bakti BCA Scholarship, BCA supports Bakti Champions not only financially, but also by enhancing essential soft skills. Over the past year, the 2025 Bakti Champions have taken part in a series of development programs, ranging from Transformational Workshop, Financial Literacy, Community Empowerment, BCA Company VIsit, Team Coaching & Mentoring, and other various program to prepare them for the professional world.”
Meanwhile, BCA Director Vera Eve expressed her hope that the 2025 Bakti Champions will put their knowledge and networks to good use as they embark on their careers. As the world continues to evolve rapidly, she emphasized the importance of staying critical and open to new opportunities.
“In the professional world, a growth mindset is essential. With the drive to keep learning and evolving, challenges become opportunities that will help us to grow stronger and carve out new paths. If we stay open and choose to collaborate, we learn to view problems from different
angles. That said, we can grow together as individuals who are both adaptable and wise,” Vera said.
Bakti BCA Ambassador Nicholas Saputra added, “Every generation faces its own unique set of challenges. My generation encountered something different from what the 2025 Bakti Champions are seeing today. This is why investing in strong and resilient human capital is the best way to secure Indonesia’s future. The young generation must be able to adapt and think creatively so they don’t get left behind by rapid, unpredictable change.”
In 2025, Bakti BCA awarded scholarships to 700 outstanding students from across Indonesia. They will later join the alumni network that supports the next cohorts in their career and social impact initiatives. At this year’s National Summit, BCA also launched the Bakti Champions Community officially as a collaborative alumni platform for Bakti BCA Scholarship recipients.
EVP Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility BCA Hera F. Haryn explained, “The launch of Bakti Champions Community reflects our commitment to strengthening Bakti BCA’s education pillar in a sustainable way. We want to ensure that the spirit of knowledge sharing continues even after the students enter the professional world. The values instilled throughout this program should live on and be passed forward to future Bakti BCA Scholarship recipients.”
Beyond scholarship, BCA’s flagship education initiatives include Sekolah Bakti BCA, BCA Berbagi Ilmu, Disability Empowerment program, Financial Literacy Education, Bakti Internship Program, Banking Business Education Program, and Information Technology Education Program. These programs represent BCA’s continued commitment to advancing education in Indonesia.
