Supporting MSMEs to Penetrate Global Markets, BCA Facilitates Business Matching with German Buyers

Jakarta, 20 September 2025 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) once again demonstrates its commitment to supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in upgrading their businesses through the Bakti BCA umbrella program. This time, the commitment is realized through a business matching activity that brings together 37 Bakti BCA Go Export MSMEs with potential buyers from Germany, Go Asia. This business matching is conducted as one of Bakti BCA's ways to promote exports of fostered MSME products to the European market.

The business matching activity was held at Menara BCA, Jakarta, on Monday (15/9), and was attended by BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono, Dreiha Handels GmbH (Germany) Managing Director Azmi Bin Mustapha, Head of Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Hamburg Faried Wirawan Rachman, Exporthub Managing Director Amalia S. Prabowo, AeXI CEO & Director Ahmad Soffian, and EVP Corporate Communication and Social Responsibility BCA Hera F. Haryn.

The Bakti BCA Go Export MSME program has entered its third batch since its beginning in 2023. The MSME participants in this business matching activity come from the 2023, 2024, and 2025 batches of Bakti BCA Go Export MSMEs. Of the total 37 participants, 11 MSMEs are from Greater Jakarta and attended directly at the venue. A total of 26 participants from various regions outside Greater Jakarta joined online.

BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono said, "In accordance with buyer requests, this business matching activity is focused on MSME players with Food & Beverage (F&B) product categories. We hope this business matching will serve as a tangible step to strengthen BCA's supported MSMEs, helping them become more prepared and confident to penetrate global markets."

Previously, two Bakti BCA MSMEs have become the latest success examples from the implementation of the Bakti BCA Go Export MSME program. At the end of 2024, an MSME from Jember operating in the agricultural sector sent its products for the first time to Malaysia and Papua New Guinea. Meanwhile, an MSME from Padang that produces processed spices successfully penetrated the Thai market for the first time. Up to May 2025, the total export value successfully generated from Bakti BCA MSMEs has surpassed more than Rp100 billion.

Besides organizing the Bakti BCA Go Export MSME program, BCA's support for Indonesian MSMEs is also realized through providing workshops and facilitating halal certification issuance. During the 2023-2024 period, BCA has conducted halal certification training and supported the issuance of approximately 3,000 halal certificates for MSMEs throughout Indonesia. In 2025, BCA's halal certification training program continues and targets facilitating the issuance of 2,000 halal certificates for MSMEs.

In addition, since 2023, BCA has consistently featured fostered MSMEs at Trade Expo Indonesia activities. Through Bakti BCA, the company is committed to consistently accompanying MSMEs to grow, increase capacity, and expand market reach, in line with efforts to boost the national economy and bring quality local products to the world stage.

"BCA believes that MSME players can develop further and contribute optimally to the national economy if they have broad access and opportunities to expand their markets to the global level. BCA will continue to walk together with Indonesian MSMEs in their journey to strengthen competitiveness and expand contributions to the national economy. We are committed to always be a relevant and adaptive partner in every stage of MSME player growth," said BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono.
