In Collaboration with TULOLA, BCA Supports Taro Tourism Village in Showcasing Silver Craftworks at the Kawan Nusantara “IDENTITAS”

Bali, 12 September 2025 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA), under Bakti BCA initiative, supports local jewelry brand TULOLA in presenting the Kawan Nusantara “IDENTITAS” showcase at Andaz Bali on Thursday (11/9). Building on the success of its July showcase in Jakarta, this event reflects the company’s commitment to driving the growth of the creative economy through the engagement with local communities.

The Kawan Nusantara “IDENTITAS” showcase was attended by TULOLA Founder & Creative Conceptor Happy Salma, TULOLA Founder & Creative Designer Sri Luce Rusna, BCA Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility EVP Hera F. Haryn, Andaz Bali Chief of the Village Marc Walz, and Taro Tourism Village silver artisan Ketut Daging. Through this event, Bakti BCA unveiled the “HEROES OF HERITAGE” exhibition, showcasing a jewelry collection crafted in collaboration between two silver artisans from Taro Tourism Village, Bali, I Made Suama and Ketut Daging, and TULOLA.

Taro Tourism Village is one of 27 villages supported by Bakti BCA. Renowned for its silver craftsmanship, the village also offers tourism experiences that harmoniously combine nature, tradition, and spirituality. Key attractions include the charm of Semara Ratih Delodsema Village with its traditional house layouts, the majestic Pura Agung Gunung Raung, and the iconic white ox conservation house that has become the village’s hallmark. In 2023, Taro Tourism Village was honored with the “Best Tourism Villages Upgrade Program” award by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

This collaboration with TULOLA marks a meaningful step forward. Through this effort, BCA hopes to contribute to local economic development and foster sustainable community growth.”

The collaboration between TULOLA and Taro artisans beautifully combines Balinese wisdom with contemporary design. The “HEROES OF HERITAGE” collection features a selection of brooches, including Mandala, Sampian, Karang Daun, and Lembu Putih, each reflecting the rich cultural identity of Taro Tourism Village.

In addition to the artisans collection, Bakti BCA also spotlighted several supported MSMEs, featuring naturally dyed woven textiles from East Sumba, South Central Timor, and Baduy, as well as batik fabrics from Kampung Batik Gemah Sumilir.

BCA also offers up to 20% discounts on TULOLA products, with an additional 5% for BCA credit cardholders. Participating tenants at the Kawan Nusantara “IDENTITAS” showcase also provided exclusive special offers for BCA customers.
