Jakarta, 26 August 2025 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) through Bakti BCA reaffirms its commitment in providing equal access to financial services and literacy for all Indonesians. This consistency has been recognized by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) through four awards at the Financial Literacy Award and Satu Rekening Satu Pelajar (KEJAR) Award 2025. The awards were received by BCA on an awarding night held by OJK on Friday (22/8), at the Dhanapala Building, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, coinciding with the commemoration of Indonesia Savings Day and the end of Financial Literacy Month 2025.
BCA won three awards at the 2025 Financial Literacy Award, namely in the Financial Services Business Actors (PUJK) category for Best Financial Literacy Program, OJK Financial Literacy Ambassador (OJK PEDULI) Best in the PUJK segment, and GENCARKAN Video Jingle. Additionally, BCA was awarded the KEJAR Award 2025 in the Best KEJAR Implementation Bank category – Subcategory: Conventional Commercial Bank. The award was received by BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono, accompanied by BCA's EVP of Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility, Hera F. Haryn.
Antonius Widodo Mulyono said, “We are proud to receive four awards from OJK as recognition of BCA's commitment in supporting the improvement of financial literacy and inclusion among Indonesians. These awards motivate us to continue delivering programs that have a broad and sustainable impact on Indonesian society, particularly in the areas of education and financial literacy.”
This award is also inseparable from the implementation of BCA's financial literacy program entitled “Berani Mimpi, Mulai Aksi”. This program has three main strategies: interactive learning and activities for students; empowerment through financial assistance and market access expansion for communities, people with disabilities, MSMEs, farmers, and fishermen; and widespread outreach through BCA employees, branch offices, and other BCA assets. BCA also continues to optimize digital channels to expand access to education, including for the younger generation.
The award in the OJK Financial Literacy Ambassador (OJK PEDULI) category for the PUJK segment was presented to Serly, an employee of KCU Batam Regional Office V BCA, who is one of BCA's Financial Literacy Ambassadors. Serly actively conducted financial literacy education throughout
2024 until the first semester of 2025, targeting various priority segments such as students, farmers and fishermen, women, communities, and people in 3T areas.
From 2024 to the first semester of 2025, Bakti BCA has reached more than 278,000 beneficiaries through various programs, ranging from KEJAR Education for students, financial management training for MSMEs and women, to digital literacy in 3T areas. These efforts are in line with the government's target through the 2025 Indonesian National Financial Literacy Strategy (SNLKI) to promote inclusive financial literacy among the public.
“We hope that this award will be an encouragement for BCA, particularly through Bakti BCA, to continue innovating and strengthening its commitment to improving financial literacy among Indonesians. We believe that these efforts will contribute in realizing the Indonesia Golden Generation 2045, as financial literacy is an important foundation for the independence and progress of the nation,” Widodo concluded.
