Jakarta, 13 August 2025 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) officially opened its annual BCA UMKM Fest 2025, which is being held in a hybrid format from July 1 to August 17, 2025. The offline opening of UMKM Fest 2025 took place on Wednesday (13/8), at Gandaria City Mall, South Jakarta. Over 50 businesses participated in the offline UMKM Fest 2025, which ran until August 17. In total, over 1,700 entrepreneurs took part in the hybrid BCA UMKM Fest 2025, which carries the tagline “Serba Serbu di BCA UMKM Fest 2025”.
The opening of BCA UMKM Fest 2025 was attended by Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) Maman Abdurrahman, Deputy for Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of UMKM Ir. Siti Azizah, MBA., BCA Deputy President Director John Kosasih, BCA Deputy President Director Armand W Hartono, and other members of the BCA Board of Directors.
BCA Vice President Director John Kosasih stated, “BCA UMKM Fest is one of the ways we demonstrate our commitment to enhancing the competitiveness of local businesses sustainably, by providing optimal access to markets, resources, and networks. This year, BCA introduced a new twist to BCA UMKM Fest 2025 through the Merchant Appreciation Program, an award for the five businesses with the best sales performance from the online event. Recognizing the crucial role of SMEs in the national economy, BCA consistently supports businesses in this segment through training, financing, and various events such as the Halal Certification Workshop, BCA Bangga Lokal, Desa Bakti BCA, and the disbursement of the Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR).”
On this occasion, BCA also launched the Multi-Purpose Business Loan (Kredit Multiguna Usaha/KMU) MerDeKa (Material, Developer, and Contractor), a new product for prospective borrowers in the property, construction, and building materials sectors. This product is designed to support the financial needs, transactions, and growth of businesses in the housing sector and related sectors.
The launch of KMU MerDeKa was attended by Didik Choiroel, Secretary General of the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas, along with BCA Vice President Director John Kosasih and BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono. Through KMU MerDeKa, BCA offers financing schemes with interest rates starting from 5.8% effective per annum, fixed for 1 year, as well as fixed-rate credit options for up to 3 years, and loan tenors of up to 20 years.
In addition, KMU MerDeKa provides non-installment credit schemes with interest rates starting from 8.18% effective per annum, fixed for 1 year. This program is available from August 1 to December 31, 2025. Customers can apply for KMU MerDeKa by visiting the nearest BCA branch or through the website bca.id/kmu.
