Jakarta, 22 July 2025 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) presents the BCA Scholarship for Business and Banking Education Program (PPBP) and Informatics Engineering Education Program (PPTI) for the 2026 academic year. This scholarship is a part of the company's commitment to improve access to quality education, while preparing the workforce through the formation of competitive human resources. Registration for BCA PPBP and PPTI Scholarships is open from April 11 to September 22, 2025.
"We believe that the greatest investment for Indonesia's future is a young generation that is competitive and able to face global challenges. The PPBP and PPTI scholarships are part of our commitment to encourage young people to gain knowledge, and build their readiness to face challenges in their professional work. We hope that these two scholarships will not only enable young people to access quality education, but also support the need for competent human resources in the banking industry," said BCA EVP Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility Hera F Haryn.
The 2026 PPBP and PPTI Scholarships are available for 195 participants. The recipients of the PPBP and PPTI Scholarships will undergo intensive education for 2.5 years at the BCA Learning Institute, Sentul, West Java. PPBP scholarship recipients will receive training in business operations within the banking sector. For PPTI, recipients will gain education on the use of technology in the banking sector.
To ensure this program runs optimally, BCA does not charge tuition fees to program participants, a.k.a free. BCA also provides free supporting facilities, such as monthly allowance, dormitory accommodation, lunch, learning books, and laptops (PPTI scholarship recipients only). Scholarship recipients also have the opportunity to pursue their career at BCA.
"The PPBP and PPTI scholarships have been part of our efforts to support quality education in Indonesia. Each year, BCA witnesses firsthand the positive impact that these scholarships have on our students. They not only succeed academically, but also develop into creative, innovative, and competitive individuals. Therefore, we encourage 12th grade students and high school/vocational school graduates to register immediately and seize this opportunity, given less than two months remaining to register," said Hera.
The PPBP and PPTI Scholarship Program is an initiative under the Bakti BCA’s flagship programs that has been running since 1996. By the end of 2024, the number of active PPBP and PPTI participants reached 572 people. As many as 99% of PPBP and PPTI scholarship graduates in 2024 joined BCA as permanent employees.

In addition to PPBP and PPTI Scholarships, Bakti BCA under the education pillar also has other programs such as Bakti BCA Scholarships for undergraduate students, Financial Literacy Education, and Bakti BCA School.
