Jakarta, 12 April 2025 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has successfully maintained its position for the second consecutive year until this 2025 as the world's strongest banking brand according to Brand Finance. The award as the world's strongest banking brand was previously achieved by BCA in 2024.
Brand Finance is an independent consulting firm based in London, United Kingdom, since 1996. Its main focus is on brand valuation and brand strategy. The reports they produce are widely recognized and used by companies, investors, and other stakeholders.
According to the “Top 500 Banking Brands” report by Brand Finance released in March 2025, BCA ranked first with a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 97.1 out of 100, an increase from the previous year's 93.8 on a scale of 100 and both scored AAA+ brand ratings. BCA secured the top position among 500 leading global banking brands from the United States, Europe, Asia, and Africa. This recognition reflects the company’s commitment to maintaining trust and providing the best service to BCA’s customers.
In addition to BCA, a number of banks from different countries were listed in the “Global 10 by Brand Strength Index”, including Nubank from Brazil, Banca Transilvania from Romania, Vietcombank from Vietnam, Bank Singapore from Singapore, Capitec Bank from South Africa, Kenya Commercial Bank from Kenya, JP Bank from Japan, Discover Bank from the United States, and China Construct from China.
As an information, Brand Finance uses the term “brand strength” as a measure of a brand’s overall health, which reflects its position in the hearts and minds of customers as well as in the broader market. This measurement is conducted using relevant key performance indicators, both in emotional and rational aspects.
