Jakarta, 3 May 2025 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) demonstrated its commitment to women's empowerment by serving as a judge at the Grand Final of Puteri Indonesia 2025, held at the Jakarta Convention Center on Friday (2/5). BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja attended in person to emphasize the importance of financial literacy. This marks BCA’s third consecutive year as a jury at the Grand Final of Puteri Indonesia 2025 since 2023, reflecting the company’s dedication to supporting and celebrating the active role of Indonesian women.
BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja stated, “Tonight, we are here to witness the incredible potential of Indonesian women and celebrate the diversity and inner beauty of each finalist. We also appreciate the dedication, hard work, and commitment of the Puteri Indonesia 2025 finalists, who have gone through a series of activities to reach this decisive Grand Final moment. We hope the knowledge we’ve shared will equip the finalists with broader insights to grow and face the future with greater confidence.”
The Grand Final Night of Puteri Indonesia 2025 became a stage to showcase the beauty, talent, and charisma of the finalists as they competed for the titles of Puteri Indonesia 2025, Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan (Environment), Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata (Tourism), along with two new titles, Puteri Indonesia Kebudayaan (Culture) and Puteri Indonesia Inovasi dan Teknologi (Innovation and Technology).
The finalists underwent several selection stages to determine the best individual capable of representing Puteri Indonesia’s mission and values at national and international levels. The jury panelists, including BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja, played a crucial role in selecting the winners and major titles based on various assessment criteria. Going forward, BCA, through its Bakti BCA initiative, will continue collaborating with the Puteri Indonesia 2025 winners in various empowerment programs, environmental conservation efforts, and youth development initiatives.
As part of BCA’s collaboration with the Puteri Indonesia Foundation leading up to the Grand Final, the 45 finalists received financial literacy training and visited the BCA Gallery at the BCA Learning Institute in Sentul. Beyond this, BCA’s participation extended to supporting small businesses and people with disabilities under the Bakti BCA umbrella. The 2025 Puteri Indonesia finalists wore batik fabrics from Kampung Batik Gemah Sumilir, Pekalongan, throughout the event. Makeup was also provided by individuals with disabilities who graduated from the Bakti BCA makeup artist (MUA) program, contributing to the finalists’ looks during the events, including at the Grand Final.
“We witnessed all participants give their best at the Grand Final of Puteri Indonesia 2025. Together, we celebrate not just beauty, but also intelligence, courage, and the outstanding leadership potential of the finalists. BCA is proud to be part of their journey. We hope the success stories of the winners will inspire millions of Indonesian women to dream big and pursue their highest ambitions. Congratulations to the winners. Keep creating, keep inspiring, and become the role models who bring positive change for Indonesia,” said BCA Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility EVP Hera F. Haryn.
