Jakarta, 25 April 2025 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) strengthens its commitment to empowering women in Indonesian through collaboration with the Puteri Indonesia Foundation (YPI) in organizing Puteri Indonesia 2025. BCA’s support for the Puteri Indonesia event has been ongoing since 2023.

BCA’s commitment to supporting this event was conveyed during the Puteri Indonesia 2025  Press Conference held at Hutan Kota by Plataran, Jakarta, Thursday (24/4). The event was attended by BCA EVP Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility Hera F. Haryn, Chairperson of the Advisory Board of Puteri Indonesia Foundation Putri Kus Wisnu Wardhani, PT Mustika Ratu Tbk President Director Bingar Egidius Situmorang, National Chairperson of Puteri Indonesia Selection Kusuma Ida Anjani, Puteri Indonesia 2024 Harastha Haifa Zahra, and the winners of Puteri Indonesia 2024.

As part of the event series, 45 finalists of Puteri Indonesia 2025 are scheduled to visit the BCA Learning Institute at Sentul, Bogor, ahead of the grand finale of the competition. The visit aims to broaden the finalists' insights and understanding of economic developments, the role of the banking sector in supporting national development, and the financial industry in general.

Additionally, BCA is involved in providing fabric from Kampung Batik Gemah Sumilir, Pekalongan, which was used by all Puteri Indonesia finalists during various activities. BCA also facilitated the inclusion of people with disabilities, graduates of the Bakti BCA MUA (make up artist) program, as makeup artists for photo sessions, the welcome dinner, and the Grand Final of Puteri Indonesia. Lastly, BCA will also participate as one of the panelists during the night of Grand Final Puteri Indonesia 2025.

Chairperson of the Advisory Board of Puteri Indonesia Foundation Putri Kus Wisnu Wardhani expressed her deep appreciation for BCA’s unwavering support since 2023. “This year marks a special moment as we once again experience strong synergy with BCA in the Puteri Indonesia 2025 event. Our collaboration since 2023 stands as testament to our shared commitment to creating a space that empowers Indonesian women. Through this event, we aim to ensure that each finalist not only has a platform to shine but also access to learn, grow, and actively contribute to nation-building,” said Putri.

BCA’s support for women's empowerment is also reflected through various external initiatives targeting entrepreneurs, particularly women entrepreneurs. Programs such as Bangga Lokal, BCA UMKM Fest, and UMKM BCA Go Export are introduced to help MSME players expand their market, gain access to training, and enhance the competitiveness of local products.

In its efforts to preserve culture in alignment with economic empowerment, BCA provides guidance to female weavers in producing traditional fabrics using natural dyes, while also opening up wider market access for nearly 100 artisans. In addition, BCA facilitates free halal certification workshops, including for women entrepreneurs, as part of its commitment to support MSMEs in becoming more competitive in both domestic and global markets.

“We hope this collaboration can inspire more parties to continue supporting spaces for the growth of Indonesian women. Moving forward, we also invite all elements of society to work together in creating a more open, inclusive ecosystem that encourages women to take on broader roles," concluded Hera.
