BAZNAS Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah Services Now Officially Available via myBCA

Jakarta, 20 March 2025 – Indonesia’s National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) has officially partnered with PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) to facilitate easier access to zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (ZIS) services through the myBCA application, supporting the Gerakan Cahaya Zakat initiative.

The agreement was signed by BAZNAS RI Chairman Prof. Dr. KH. Noor Achmad, MA., along with BCA Director John Kosasih and BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono at the BAZNAS RI Office in Jakarta, Thursday (20/03/2025).

BAZNAS RI Chairman Prof. Dr. KH. Noor Achmad, MA., emphasized that this partnership is a strategic step designed to simplify access for the public to fulfill their religious and charitable obligations through a modern and efficient digital platform.

“The adoption of digital platforms in financial transactions is now essential. Recognizing this, BAZNAS and BCA have initiated the use of the myBCA platform to allow easier and faster distribution of ZIS,” said Kiai Noor.

Kiai Noor expressed hope that this cooperation between BAZNAS Indonesia and BCA will enhance public awareness and participation in performing ZIS through digital channels.

"With easier access and processes for distributing ZIS, it is hoped that the collection of ZIS funds will increase, enabling BAZNAS to implement more social and empowerment programs for the welfare of the community," said Kiai Noor.

BCA Director John Kosasih added that BCA is committed to supporting BAZNAS' GerakanCahaya Zakat by providing payment services for zakat, infaq, and sadaqah through various products and services. To date, BCA and BAZNAS have collaborated in collecting zakat, infaq, and sadaqah via BCA Virtual Account method and transfers to BCA accounts.

“BCA has now expanded this partnership by adding ZIS payment options to the 'Pay & Top Up' feature within the myBCA app. This move aims to assist BAZNAS in elevating ZIS transactions with digital solutions that are secure, convenient, simple, and widely accessible,” stated John Kosasih.

Payment of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah through BAZNAS via myBCA can be done as follows:

  1. Log in to the myBCA application.
  2. Select the "Pay & Top Up" feature.
  3. Choose "Donations & Zakat."
  4. Select "BAZNAS."
  5. Enter the details of the zakat, infaq, and sadaqah you wish to donate.
  6. Complete the payment.
