Tangerang, 23 February 2025 — Doesoen Kopi Sirap, one of the Bakti BCA-assisted villages, participated in the offline BCA Expoversary 2025 in ICE BSD, Tangerang, February 20-23. The village, located in Semarang Regency, brought its coffee truck to the event area.
The Kopi Sirap coffee truck, which was colored blue and mini, stole visitors’ attention. This was proven by Doesoen Kopi Sirap's sell-out of local coffee during the first three days of BCA Expoversary 2025.
BCA Expoversary visitors' excitement was partly driven by an attractive promo from Doesoen Kopi Sirap. Kopi Sirap coffee truck provides a special 15% discount for the first 50 buyers every day, with a minimum transaction of IDR 100,000.
Kopi Sirap is a plantation product from Sirap Village that has continued to improve the quality of its products since being under the guidance of Bakti BCA. The presence of Kopi Sirap at BCA Expoversary is a tangible manifestation of Bakti BCA's support for expanding product education and market access for MSME products to all segments of society.
BCA EVP Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility Hera F. Haryn said, “Kopi Sirap is one example of how BCA's Bakti MSME products can be of high quality and competitive. We are very proud to see the development of Doesoen Kopi Sirap, which is not only getting better coffee flavor, but also has a myriad of innovations to market its products. We are confident that the presence of Coffee Truck Kopi Sirap at this event can further expand the market reach of shingle coffee products in the community, and have a positive impact on the economic chain it creates.”
Kopi Sirap Coffee Truck offers various types of coffee, ranging from Kopi Klepon, Gendis Manis (Gula Aren Coffee), and the classic Americano. There are also non-coffee drinks to enjoy, such as Klepon Latte, Nyoklat, or Empon Empon. All drinks in this coffee truck can be obtained with prices starting from IDR 35,000.
Kopi Sirap has four types of coffee beans processed by different methods, namely Anaerobic, Natural, Full Wash, and Honey. For coffee lovers with a strong and fruity flavor, the Anaerobic and Natural blends are the right choice. Honey beans bring a touch of sweetness like honey. Finally, Full Wash gives a smoother and less bitter coffee flavor, but still has a distinctive coffee character.
Dusun Kopi Sirap has been a Bakti BCA-assisted village since 2016. Through continuous coaching, coffee farmers in Sirap Village group have significantly increased their turnover and expanded their market to foreign countries.
In November 2024, Bakti BCA brought Doesoen Kopi Sirap to take part in Singapore Coffee Week. Bakti BCA also invited Doesoen Kopi Sirap to participate in business matching at the Amsterdam Coffee Festival, Netherlands, in 2024. In addition, Sirap Coffee has been ordered and sold during Indonesian cultural activities at the Museum at the Rothenbaum - Cultures and Arts of the World (MARKK) Hamburg, Germany; as well as at International Batik Day activities at the World Bank Headquarters, Washington DC, USA.
Not only focusing on coffee sales, Sirap Village is now also developing into an educational coffee agro-tourism destination and a hiking trail with beautiful views of the coffee plantation. Activities in the plantation and agro-tourism are driven by the youth and women in the village.
“There is no more perfect way to spend the weekend than enjoying a cup of richly flavored Kopi Sirap. We invite visitors to enjoy the uniqueness of Indonesian robusta coffee from the various coffee menus provided at the Kopi Sirap coffee truck at BCA Expoversary 2025. Your contribution will not only enrich the experience of experiencing the distinctive taste of robusta coffee of the archipelago, but also support local MSMEs to continue to grow,” concluded Hera.
Not only Kopi Sirap, visitors to BCA Expoversary can also find various MSME products and the work of BCA's Bakti Assisted Villages in BCA Expoversary 2025. Some of the products included batik from Kampung Batik Gemah Sumilir Pekalongan, fabrics from Wastra Warna Alam Tenun Baduy & South Central Timor, and various snacks from MSMEs. Visitors also had the opportunity to try nail art and makeup from certified Sahabat Disabilitas, graduates of Bakti BCA's “Make Up Class with BCA” program.
