Jakarta, 10 August 2024 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is committed to enhancing access to quality education for Indonesian youth, one of which is through the distribution of educational scholarships. In line with this commitment, BCA is once again presenting the Beasiswa BCA program for the 2025 academic year, with applications open from April 1 to September 13, 2024. The Beasiswa BCA offers two programs: the Business and Banking Education Program (PPBP) and the Information Technology Education Program (PPTI), both available to high school and vocational school graduates across Indonesia.
The Beasiswa BCA recipients will participate in a 2.5-year educational program at the BCA Learning Institute in Sentul, West Java. Those awarded the PPBP Scholarship will receive training in business operations within the banking sector, while recipients of the PPTI Scholarship will gain education on the use of technology in banking. Both Beasiswa BCA programs are designed to cultivate a highly skilled and competitive workforce, contributing to the growth and advancement of the banking industry.

BCA also ensures that the learning process for its scholarship recipients is optimized by providing a range of supportive resources. These include textbooks, laptops (for PPTI scholarship recipients), lunch, transportation, dormitory accommodation, and a monthly allowance. In addition to classroom instruction, scholarship recipients have the opportunity to develop their skills through diverse extracurricular activities and engaging programs aimed at enhancing their soft skills.

The Beasiswa BCA is one of Bakti BCA's flagship programs, established in 1996. As of 2023, BCA has graduated265 recipients from the PPBP program and 307 recipients from the PPTI program. The Beasiswa BCA recipients also have the opportunity to pursue a career with BCA. By December 2023, 191 alumni, or 99.5% of the program’s graduates, have joined BCA as permanent employees.
Besides the Beasiswa BCA, Bakti BCA offers several other key educational programs, including the Beasiswa Bakti BCA (for undergraduate students), Financial Literacy Education, and the Sekolah Bakti BCA. Recently, Bakti BCA organized a series of public lectures called 'BCA Berbagi Ilmu' at five universities across Indonesia. BCA's Board of Directors personally delivered these lectures to over 3,300 students. The program also included a student banking tour of several BCA branch offices, as well as makeup training and certification for individuals with disabilities.
