Bali, 5 May 2023 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) recently held a Train The Trainer Outbound with Local Fun Games Outbound approach in Taro Village, Bali from Sunday (30/4) to Monday (01/5). The training and mentoring activities were specifically given to 13 selected Taro Village tourism managers, with the aim of enhancing their capacities as outbound activity guides by using a local fun games approach. This initiative is a good step to increase the commercial value of the BCA Fostered Tourism Village.
The Local Fun Games Outbound is prepared as an addition to the existing range of tourism packages offered to visitors, as an alternative source of tourism income, as well as to maintain the traditions, arts, culture, and good life values in Taro Village. Furthermore, through this activity, human resource capacity of the village that previously selected through the Train The Trainer "Local Fun Games Outbound" program, can also be improved.
After following a series of training sessions, participants will undergo a trial period, such as trial runs involving potential customers from the tourism village, designing materials and promoting the "Local Fun Games Outbound" tourist packages, all the way through to the sale of these packages.
Director of BCA Antonius Widodo Mulyono stated, "This training is a real commitment from us to maximize the potential of BCA's sponsored tourism villages. I also congratulate the 13 tourism village managers of Taro Village who have successfully passed the selection and have the opportunity to participate in the training and mentoring to become outbound guides in the Taro Tourism Village."
Through this training, participants are also expected to provide new innovations that can attract more visitors in the future. As a result, it can help preserve the traditions, arts, culture, and various values of life that exist within the village.
Head of BCA KCU Denpasar Robertus Gozali said, "On this occasion, I would like to invite all of you to get to know Taro Village, one of BCA Fostered Tourism Villages, more closely. This ancient village in Gianyar, Bali is very rich in historical and cultural legacies."
One of the cultural values owned by the Taro Village is the historical legacy of Pura Agung Gunung Raung. In addition, in Semara Ratih Delod Sema Village, visitors can experience the typical Balinese house and participate in various village activities, such as goldsmithing, silversmithing, sculpture, weaving, relief, and Balinese carving. Moreover, the Taro Tourism Village is surrounded by stunning natural scenery, and has become the only village in Bali with a conservation of white cattle.
BCA hopes that all residents, training participants, and the entire community can continue to maintain the spirit of developing Taro Village, preserving Indonesia's cultural and environmental richness, and finding new inspiration for sustainable tourism development in Taro Village. In the future, it is hoped with the increasing number of tourist arrivals, it will also improve the welfare of the community, especially in terms of the economy. As part of the national banking system, BCA fully supports this effort.
