BCA Celebrated National Customer Day Appreciation Parade

Jakarta, 4 September 2016 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) participated in the National Customer Appreciation Day Parade to greet customers and the general public directly. In addition to being a form of corporate responsibility, the activities during National Customer Appreciation Day were also used as a chance to get to know the customers more closely.

The Appreciation Parade this year was held on 4 September 2016 on Car Free Day (CFD) Jakarta. BCA Deputy President Director Armand W. Hartono and Head of Halo BCA Wani Sabu, BCA Head of Operations and Services Subdivision Warni Setiawan attended the event with 200 other BCA employees,.

"Still in celebration of National Customer Day, we aim to show our appreciation to customers by participating in the Appreciation Parade. On this occasion, employees usually working behind the scene were able to interact and mingle with customers. Not only were the employees happy to participate in the event, but participating customers also enjoyed the celebration that is intended for them," Armand noted of the event.

BCA along with 41 other companies as well as thousands of participants paraded along Jalan Jendral MH Thamrin, wearing the uniform of their respective companies and accompanied by various musical instruments and attractions, such as marching band, tanjidor, angklung, company mascots, and more. Various art shown illustrated the spirit of enterprise in building customer satisfaction over the years.

The Appreciation Parade today was the culmination of National Customer Day. The series of activities organized for BCA Customer Day included Halo BCA and BCA branch open houses on September 2, 2016. BCA Deputy President Director Armand W. Hartono, BCA Director Santoso, and BCA Director Lianawaty Suwono received the opportunity to greet and serve customers directly during the open houses. The activity reflected the Bank’s appreciation to loyal customers, one of the keys to the success of the company.

National Customer Day this year selected the theme "Customers’ Smile is Also My Smile". The theme was a reminder for companies to provide and maintain services based on authenticity and honesty, such as prioritizing on human resources amidst an industry that has been gravitating towards automated machines. The theme further motivated the Bank to improve the quality and strength empowering Human Resources (HR). "Currently, BCA, especially through Halo BCA, has put extra efforts to minimize answering machines and maximizing personal interaction. Halo BCA is supported by 1,450 staff and is divided into nine shifts to respond to 49,500 calls per day to ensure this personal interaction. We hope to continue to provide the best to our customers," Armand concluded.
