Palimanan,June 13 2016 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk continues to improve comfortable access and transaction convenience for the public. This time, Badan Pengatur Jalan Tol (BPJT) along with BCA and other electronic money service providers conducted tests for the service at the toll road, including Flazz. Electronic money will serve as an alternative payment method at several toll routes, including Cikarang – Palimanan, Cikarang – Purbaleunyi, and Palimanan – Purbaleunyi.
The event took place on 13 June 2016 at Palimanan KM 187 toll booth. BPJT Chairman Herry Trisaputra Zuna, Jasa Marga Operational Director Christianto Priyambodo, PT Lintas Marga Sedaya (LMS) Vice President Hudaya Arryanto, BCA Marketing & Product Development Chief Manager Head Jan Hendra, and management members of other participating banks attended the event.
“After Flazz payment method officially launched for Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) Toll in March, we are testing Flazz BCA at Palimanan Toll booth in anticipation of traffic surge during Idul Fitri mudik travels between June and July 2016. This cooperation is part of BCA’s efforts to provide convenience and comfort during transaction for toll users,” BCA Marketing & Product Development Chief Manager Jan Hendra explained.
BPJT Chairman Herry Trisaputra Zuna added that the integration of toll payment system at several toll routes is available from several banks, including BCA, BRI, BNI, BTN, and Bank Mandiri with the aim of easing congestion at toll payment gates. The integration is expected to be implemented before traffic surge during Idul Fitri 2016 mudik travels. The electronic payment system integration process is hoped to optimize the reduction of vehicle pile up.
”The test conducted today oversaw technical preparedness, such as reader and other equipment, before the official launch. We hope that after the launch, the public can enjoy quicker payments and wait-free travels with Flazz,” Jan continued.
Jan added, “Thank you for the hard work from all the parties involved in ensuring the integration of this multibank payment system.” Flazz is not only available for BCA customers, but also customers of other banks who have participated in Flazz co-branding. In addition to the abovementioned toll routes, Flazz BCA is also available for use at Gerbang Tol Waru – Juanda, Surabaya – Gresik, and Makassar.

The steps were taken in fulfillment of BCA’s support for government in anticipation of traffic surge during Idul Fitri mudik travels between June and July. The effort also supported the National Non-Cash Movement (cashless society).
