BCA’s 59th Anniversary Celebration: BCA Provided Education to Foster Primary Schools to Increase Student Health Quality

Serang, February 4th 2016 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) fulfilled its commitment to improve the quality of Indonesian students through education provided at Bakti BCA foster primary schools SDN 1 and SDN 2, Taktakan, Serang. The education program is part of BCA’s 59th anniversary celebration activity series that is aligned with its Bakti BCA Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) pillar Synergy Solution.

Operational Head of BCA Serang Ratu HJ Aat Atnawiah, SDN 1 Taktakan Serang Principal Tuti Ruswati, and SDN 2 Taktakan Serang Principal Tukijah attended the event in Serang, Thursday (04/02). The education program was headed by dr. Monik Setijoso and her team.

In our 59th year, BCA continues to believe that the public is inseparable from our existence and success. We are committed that BCA’s journey should develop side-by-side with the prosperity of our closest communities. Our long list of social programs reflect our gratitude for the public support we have witnessed for the past 59 years,” remarked Ratu HJ Aat Atnawiah.

The program that involved first grade to sixth grade students included learning habits beneficial to their health, such as health information and hygiene. The education program was expected to raise awareness among students to maintain simple health habits to prevent the spread of diseases. BCA believe that this learning environment is ideal for the absorption of knowledge.

In addition to health and hygiene education for primary school students in Serang, BCA also held a seminar for educators ”Developing Your Personal Impact and Influence”, and financial literacy seminar for acomplished students at SMPN 6 Serang on Wednesday, February 3rd 2016. This program was also held in Lampung and Yogyakarta.

”We hope to contribute to society with BCA’s series of social programs. This reason continues to motivate the development of BCA’s Corporate Social Responsibility,” Ratu HJ Aat Atnawiah concluded.
