Jakarta, 27 October 2017 - Eighty-nine years ago, on 28 October 1928, the Indonesian youth from all across the nation gathered and pledged themselves as part of one motherland, one nation, and one language. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) determines to instill the spirit into the hearts and minds of the people, especially Indonesian youth, by holding #SumpahHariIni activation.
“The spirit of #SumpahPemuda, which was declared many decades ago, should be kept alive especially for the youth generation, who will become the successor of the nation. By joining the #SumpahHariIni activation, it is expected to spread positive contents on social media in hopes of moving people to participate,” said Norisa Saifuddin, Senior Vice President Marketing Communication of BCA
Taking place from 28 October until 10 November 2017, the #SumpahHariIni activation invites the public to share positive content on social media by voicing out a pledge to do a good deed. For example, pledging to start dumping garbage into the bins, saving money for a better future, and many more. The pledge doesn’t have to be big but it has to have an impact to create a change towards the better.
The mechanism is as follows:
- The movement starts from 28 Oktober - 10 November 2017
- Steps to record a video on Instagram Stories are as follow :
- Open Instagram by tapping button on the top left corner of the app
- Take a video of your pledge using Instagram stories
- Decorate your video with features available on Instagram Stories
- Steps to post a photo and video on Instagram are as follow :
- Save the pledge photos and videos you’ve prepared
- Upload the video to your Instagram account using hashtag #SumpahHariIni #LebihBaik and mention @GoodLifeBCA, and tag friends you want to challenge to do the same.
- By uploading the photo and video, you have become a leader of change for yourself and people around you!
