BCA Named the Best Bank in Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2017

Hong Kong, 13 July 2017 – BCA’s success in maintaining a solid performance in the banking industry has garnered international recognitions. After recently awarded the Best Bank in Indonesia and the Best Asian Bank in the FinanceAsia’s Country Awards for Achievement 2017 in Hong Kong, BCA was once again named the Best Bank in Indonesia in Euromoney Awards for Excellence in Hong Kong, Thursday (13/07).

Attending to receive the Best Bank in Indonesia award, Director of BCA Santoso revealed that the ease of transaction and BCA’s sophisticated and up-to-date innovative banking services are the key to its continued success in achieving high profit growth and outstanding performance. “Fulfilling the bank vision as the bank of choice and important pillar of the Indonesian economy, BCA recognizes the importance of keeping up with the development of information technology trends to address the needs of the younger generation and millennial as the main stakeholders and motor of the economic growth in Indonesia,” said Santoso.

The Euromoney Awards for Excellence is a prestigious award initiated by Euromoney magazine, a reference media that has been studying relevant financial issues for over 50 years in different parts of the world. Since 1992, the Euromoney Awards for Excellence has been the most respected award in the banking industry and aims to give an appreciation to the banks that have provided the best services, products and innovations to the customer. Of the nearly 1,500 banks selected for the entire category at the domestic, regional, and global levels, BCA came off victorious for the fourth consecutive year as the Best Bank title in Indonesia.

Santoso added that BCA’s consistency to uphold good corporate governance and applying prudential principles in providing loans had also contributed to encourage loyalty of the customer, shareholders, and other stakeholder to always return to BCA. “We always apply high professionalism in providing services and products of banking solutions to customers. We apply various considerations prior to providing loans, which will be tailored to the debtor history and financial capabilities. Both of which have contributed to the progress of trust of our stakeholders and bring positive corporate profit growth,” Santoso concluded.
