Jakarta, 24 July 2018 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is committed to improve its contribution in Indonesian economy in various sectors, including the property. BCA realizes its commitment through a mortgage financing facility with Astra Property Group in the amount of Rp80 billion channeled through PT Brahmayasa Bahtera as the Joint Venture company between PT. Astra International Tbk and Hongkong Land, Ltd to develop the Arumaya Apartment Project.
Attending the signing of the agreement was Director of BCA Suwignyo Budiman, Executive Vice President of Consumer Credit Business of BCA Felicia Mathilda Simon, President Director of PT Brahmayasa Bahtera Wibowo Muljono, Director of PT Brahmayasa Bahtera Panji Nurfirman, and Proxy of the Board of Directors of PT Brahmayasa Bahtera Theodore Chuang Say Piau in Jakarta, Tuesday (24/07).
“Beside landed houses, apartments are also an alternative housing option, especially for those in big cities. We see that the trend will continue to rise and therefore will need a positive support in the form of financing facility for such apartment development projects including the Arumaya project,” said Suwignyo.
Wibowo added, “With the signing of this cooperative agreement, we hope that the mortgage program offered is more attractive and beneficial for the ARUMAYA consumers that in turn will enable them to obtain a unit more easily. ARUMAYA apartment is an exclusive modern residence that reflects a luxurious aesthetic, a residence to enhance comfort and quality of life of our consumers.”
Located in TB Simatupang, The Arumaya Apartment Project is a residential living concept that prioritizes the modern lifestyle built on a 2.6 hectares land. The project consists of 246 residential units in a 22-storey apartment, 16 garden villas and exhibits a greenery concept, with 70% of residential areas dedicated to reforestation purposes.
Previously, BCA had also distributed a home mortgage to Brahmayasa Bahtera for the Luxury Apartment Anandamaya Residence project and to Astra Modern Land for the development of Township ASYA Project in Jakarta Garden City last April 2018.
“Through this collaboration, BCA hopes to contribute to the growth of the mortgage business through a variety of innovative and competitive products while encouraging the distribution of corporate morgages this year. As of the first quarter of 2018, home loans grew by 10.6% year on year to Rp71.9 trillion,” Suwignyo concluded.
