Bogor, 16 July 2018 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) continues its commitment to support the youth generation to become the agent and pioneer of changes towards a more positive direction for the progress of the nation. BCA implemented the commitment by providing a full support to the Miss Grand Indonesia 2018 event that carry the theme of ‘Beauty in Diversity’. After holding a press conference on Wednesday (11/07), the 30 finalists of Miss Grand Indonesia continued their activities in a deep interview one on one session on Saturday (14/07), where the judges were from the management of BCA, Director of BCA Santoso and Executive Vice President of Learning and Development Lena Setiawati.
Today, Monday (16/07), the finalists had a chance to visit BCA Learning Institute. Attending the event was the 30 finalists of Miss Grand Indonesia 2018 accompanied by the National Director of Miss Grand Indonesia Dikna Faradiba welcomed by President Director of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) Jahja Setiaatmadja together with Director of BCA Santoso. “We certainly are delighted by the visit today. The finalists will learn the history of BCA from the beginning to the development of banking technology we develop,” said Jahja.
Miss Grand Indonesia 2018 is a beauty pageant contest aimed to change the existing paradigm in such contest by carrying the spirit of the young generation that aspire to be more modern, creative and sociable. Under the theme of ‘Beauty in Diversity’, the Miss Grand Indonesia 2018 contest is the first beauty contest held in Indonesia that involves the most qualified young women from various provinces in Indonesia.
The 30 finalists of Miss Grand Indonesia will learn more about the banking industry on their visit to BLI, where there is Galeri BCA and myBCA. In Galeri BCA, finalists are to learn about BCA history from its inception in 1957. In addition, finalists can also experience myBCA latest technology. Equipped with the latest technology and located in the mall, myBCA serves a diverse range of individual banking needs, including ATM transactions, information on BCA products and services, Tahapan Xpresi account opening, and Flazz Card balance purchase and top-up, application for credit card, KPR, KKB, KSM, and also customer care service by Halo BCA.
“We hope that through this visit, our younger generation can learn more about the latest technology in the banking industry that is utilized to improve convenience while performing banking transactions. And especially to convey or share with their peers the experience they had at myBCA,” Jahja concluded.
