BCA Grebeg Kliwon Kudus Traditional Market, Educating Merchants on QRIS Digital Payment Method

BCA Grebeg QRIS at Kliwon Kudus Traditional Market – The Head of KCP (Sub-Branch Office) Kliwon Traditional Market, Kudus Kaleb Boedhi Winantoro attended Grebeg (literal: come suddenly) QRIS at Kliwon Traditional Market, Kudus on Thursday (11/25). This event is a direct review program conducted by PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BCA) KCP Kudus in connection with the encouragement to increase the use of the QRIS digital payment method and prepare Kliwon Traditional Market merchants to enter the digital payment ecosystem. The merchants claimed that this digital payment method helps them, especially transferring fund via BCA QRku. In the future, BCA is committed to continue to expand the use of QRIS in many sectors, as well as educate and encourage community to use it, to support financial inclusion in Indonesia.

BCA Grebeg QRIS at Kliwon Kudus Traditional Market – QRIS is a transaction method using an Indonesian standard QR code issued by Bank Indonesia. This service can be accessed via BCA Mobile, users only need to scan the merchant’s barcode with the QRIS logo. BCA recorded QRIS transactions as of October 2021 (YTD) carried out by BCA customers reaching IDR 2.8 T, a significant growth compared to 2020 (full year) of IDR 412 billion and dominated by F&B transactions. BCA has also collaborated with around 510,000 merchants across Indonesia.
