Jakarta, 11 May 2018 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) through its President Commissioner Djohan Emir Setijoso was named The Most Outstanding People 2018. The award was presented by the Infobank media to select national figures in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the economic, social, political, and scientific development. Attending to receive the award was President Commissioner of BCA Djohan Emir Setijoso, receiving the award from Editor-in-Chief of the Infobank Magazine Eko B. Supriyanto at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Jakarta, Jumat (11/05).
“In the midst of Indonesia’s economic growth today, it is imperative to continue make improvements and enhancements from various stakeholders, including from the banking industry. As part of the banking industry, I am honored to take part and contribute in maintaining public funds while driving the Indonesian real economy sector,” said Setijoso.
Setijoso added, as a representation of the company, a leader must be at the forefront vanguard of leadership. It is because a leader plays an essential role in synergizing both internal and external factors of the company in order to create value added for the company. A leader must also work well together with all employees to achieve the vision and mission of the company. “Not only myself, but also the entire board of directors and commissioners and the extended family of BCA have made great efforts to improve the performance and reputation of the company. Every achievement made by BCA, whether given to individuals or team, is our collective success,” added Setijoso.
The Top 10 Most Outstanding People 2018 Awards is held for the first time to give appreciation to national figures who meet the criteria according to the Infobank Editorial Board. Djohan Emir Setijoso is one of the recipients of the esteemed Outstanding People 2018 award. As a banker, he was considered a part of the banking industry that once was seeking to recover from the crisis and contribute to advancing the banking industry. Not only that, Djohan Emir Setijoso is also considered successful in placing a fundamental foundation that leads BCA to grow and become one of the largest private banks in Indonesia.
