Semarang, 25 November 2019 – At Dusun Kopi Sirap, one of Bakti BCA’s assisted villages, visitors can enjoy a sip of coffee while enjoying cool mountain breeze, long range Gunung Kelir mountain views, overlooking the coffee lots while at the same time learning about coffee.
In order to serve best quality coffee, the Bakti BCA held barista and coffee roasting training for the youth of Dusun Kopi Sirap for three consecutive days, from 25-27 November 2019. Attending the training was Vice President CSR BCA Ira Bachtar, Trainer Reza Adam Ferdian and Indonesia Coffee Master Ega Srimulyo on Monday (25/11) in Semarang. Also attending the program was seven baristas and two roasters.
“To serve a cup of quality coffee, it doesn’t solely rely on quality beans, but also the manufacturing process. Therefore, we’re holding this training in order increase the capacity of the youth of Dusun Kopi Sirap in producing delicious coffee,” said Ira.
A total of nine youth members of Doesoen Kopi Sirap participated in a comprehensive training given by Reza Adam Ferdian. The training is part of the R & D series of coffee bean auction processes from Doesoen Kopi Sirap and also to get a certification test from Pusdikcocca Jember.
“Despite the short time, we hope that after the 3-day training, they can serve various quality coveted coffee drinks. The rest is more about logging more field hours,” Ira concluded.
Barista & Roasting Training at Dusun Kopi Sirap – The Bakti BCA held barista and coffee roasting training for the youth of Dusun Kopi Sirap in order increase the capacity of the youth of Dusun Kopi Sirap in producing delicious coffee. A total of nine enthused youths participated in a comprehensive training given by Reza Adam Ferdian in Semarang on 25-27 November 2019. The training program was also attended by Vice President of CSR of BCA Ira Bachtar and Indonesia Coffee Master Ega Srimulyo.
