Thailand, 19 July 2019 – The totality of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA)’s commitment in building Halo BCA’s services and transforming them to meet the current needs earned international recognition. Halo BCA has once again brought home the Best Mega Contact Center in Asia Pacific award at the Contact Center World (CCW) 2019.
The highest award was also obtained along with a number of other awards, with total awards received consisting of 19 Gold, 11 Silver, and 4 Bronze, and DREAM Team is which divided into two major categories, namely Corporate and Individual category that the bank BCA received that night. The awards were received by the Executive Vice President Center of Digital BCA Wani Sabu at Hotel JW Mariot, Phuket Thailand, Friday (19/07).
Wani Sabu said that the transformation the Bank BCA carried out in Halo BCA has modified the division orientation from what used to be a contact center to now a digital center. The transformation was a success due to its development approach that focuses on customer satisfaction. The qualified human resources also play a significant role in the success, which derived from sustainable people development system management.
With such rigorous transformation, Wani Sabu added that Halo BCA is no longer a cost center. It is now a profit center, because it has become a learning center for various parties related to the development of digital center that aligns with the company’s vision and mission, which are oriented towards improving the company’s performance and reputation.
“We are proud to win the highest award. It serves as proof that Halo BCA has been carrying out the appropriate development in responding to customer needs in accordance with current trends and also become the lead in improving company’s performance and reputation,” explained Wani Sabu.
As is known, a number of developments in digital-based multi-channel communication are continuously carried out by BCA in order to bring its customer satisfaction-oriented services up-to-date. Few digital channel developments include Web Chat Halo BCA, Whatsapp BCA and Online Account Opening via mobile Banking. BCA has been participating in the CCW for 12 years and for 9 years of success becoming 1st winner at the awarding event, the Bank BCA managed to put Indonesia on the map. In the CCW competition this year, Halo BCA collaborated with BCA’s Division of Information and Technology.
Wani Sabu added that Halo BCA wanted to make a direct contribution to the development of contact center industry in Indonesia. We are ready to work with other companies who wish to develop their contact centers, based on experience and comparisons with other companies, both domestic and foreign. “We will also continue to innovate as we are striving to set out on a dynamic path, and continue to become the leading contact center in the future,” Wani concluded.

Besides the Best Mega Contact Center, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) also won 35 awards, a testament to the bank’s efforts in providing sustainable innovative financial solution products and services. All 35 awards are consisting of 19 Gold, 11 Silver, 4 Bronze, and DREAM Team.
