Jakarta, 30 April 2019 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) received the Financial Top Leader 2019 award for the private banking category Book IV. This award serves as an appreciation to CEOs, President Directors and directors of financial companies, who are considered to have outstanding qualities in leading their companies while facing global technological advancement challenges.
On the eve of the award ceremony, attending to receive the award was President Director of BCA Jahja Setiaatmadja, accompanied by Corporate Secretary of BCA Jan Hendra. The award was handed over by Warta Ekonomi at Balai Kartini, Jakarta, Tuesday (30/04/2019).
Jahja said that every CEO at banking institutions is completely aware of the challenge of change, especially those by caused by today’s digital revolution. The best option that has to be made is to undergo a transformation according to current technological developments. This certainly is not a simple matter because it has a significant impact on changes in work culture, mechanisms and resources. Meanwhile, the banks are always oriented towards service excellence and performance growth, which rely heavily on solidity and consistency.
“There is no doubt that the award provides a special meaning, a testament to the digital transformation that has been carried out by BCA so far. This shows that the Bank BCA has taken the right measures to make such transformation and consistently continues to innovate to provide sustainable value added for all stakeholders,” said ujar Jahja Setiaatmadja.
As is known, in order to deliver excellent service to the customers, BCA conducted a number of digital transformations. Starting from Internet Banking, BCA Mobile, KlikBCA, Sakuku, VIRA, BCA Webchat, QRku, OneKlik BCA, Keyboard BCA, and, the recent one, Online Account Opening.
Jahja added that the entire family of BCA is aware of the discourse regarding digital transformation at BCA. Therefore, they share common vision and efforts in addressing the various changes related to digital services that will likely occur in the future. Through continuous learning, innovation and socialization, BCA is optimistic that it can pass the challenges and opportunities of digitalization while maintaining positive performance.
