Jakarta, 4 April 2019 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) was named the World’s Best Banks 2019 in Indonesia on the Forbes list published this week. On this list, BCA sits at the top of the Top 10 World’s Best Bank 2019 in Indonesia.
The titling was based on a survey conducted by Forbes, in collaboration with a survey institute Statista, which conducted a survey to more than 40,000 customers worldwide. The customers were asked for their opinions on their current and former banking relationships in terms of the quality of the relationship and banking services.
The banks were assessed based on recommendation and customer satisfaction that focuses on five key elements, namely trust, terms and conditions, customer services, digital services, and financial advice.
“We highly appreciate the survey result, especially given that the recognition came directly from customer experience. This shows that the various transformation in banking services carried out by BCA has addressed customer real needs and made them feel comfortable,” explained President Director of BCA Jahja Setiaatmadja in Jakarta, a while ago.
Jahja added that customer comfort and security are key elements in BCA’s core vision. Therefore, BCA is committed to continuing to innovate and develop various breakthroughs and new initiatives so as to facilitate banking services for customers. BCA has carried out various digital transformations, starting from internet banking, Klik BCA, BCA Mobile, Sakuku, Flazz BCA, OneKlik BCA, QRku, VIRA, WebChat BCA, Keyboard BCA, Online Account Opening, and other innovations that are still incipient and soon to be launched.
Previously, at the end of last year, BCA also won the Best of The Best Awards 2018 from Forbes Indonesia. The Best of the Best Awards is an annual award ceremony held by Forbes Indonesia, recognizing the Top 50 Indonesian Companies listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange(IDX). Out of 565 public companies, 50 companies were selected through a rigorous selection process by Forbes Indonesia throughout the year 2018. BCA is ranked 9th on the Forbes Indonesia Top 50 Companies with outstanding performance list.
