Opening ceremony of the 2021 IKF X was opened by the BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja virtually on Thursday (07/10). After the ceremony, seminar activities were held until afternoon. In total, there were around thousands of visitors who took part in the 2021 IKF X event.

''As one of the private banks in Indonesia, BCA is proud to be able to reorganize the Indonesia Knowledge Forum. This activity is a form of BCA's commitment to always providing inspiration and knowledge to Indonesian citizens through creativity, optimism and innovation. The 2021 IKF X presents dozens of inspirational speakers who will provide perspectives on Indonesia's economic growth during the pandemic and upcoming 2022," said Jahja.

This year IKF is held with the concept of a full day forum on ikf.co.id page. It will be divided into several seminar sessions on two stages, the main hall and the mini stage. A number of speakers who will attend this forum are Indonesian Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Indonesian Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi, Chairman of Ancora Group Gita Wijarwan, President Director of PT Bio Farma (Persero) Honesti Basyir, President Director of PR Aneka Gas Tbk. – Samator Group Rachmat Harsono, Group CEO & Co-Founder of Samara Media and Entertainment Ben Soebiakto, Creative Director of Ceritera.id Edward Suhardi, Commissioner of Indonesia Stock Exchange Pandu Sjahrir, President Director of PT Schroders Investment Management Indonesia Michael T. Tjoajadi, and Economist Dr. Raden Pardede and dozens of other speakers.

"The pandemic will not end quickly. It will take a long time, so we must learn to live with the pandemic. It affects the global economic crisis because it limits our physical contact, whereas physical contact is the key activity to grow the economy. Thus, we really have to improve the health sector so that people will feel safe in having physical contact. We have to unite to face the pandemic together," said Budi Gunadi Sadikin in a session titled “Maintain Health-Economy Trade-Off During Pandemic”.

The pandemic is not a barrier in organizing this virtual intellectual forum. Based on last year's implementation, the enthusiasm of the participants becomes the driving force for this activity to be held again. BCA Learning Service, which is the organizer, also tries to present speakers who are relevant to current conditions.

"Digital economy is one of Indonesia's main growth points. It teaches us, especially in the COVID-19 pandemic, that it is able to bring the whole community closer together. Therefore, we must embrace the penetration of this digital economy. The Ministry of Trade will maintain the market to ensure that all those who are competing in the digital economy platform compete fairly to produce fair and beneficial trade," said Muhammad Lutfi in a session titled “Empowering Indonesian Economy Through Trade”.

“We hope that this activity can inspire a lot of parties and become a comprehensive learning media about the economy. This forum can also facilitate participants who want to share knowledge in building Indonesia's economic strength in the present and after the pandemic. Of course, we also hope that through 2021 IKF X we will also support Indonesia and its human resources towards economic and business recovery," concluded Jahja.
