BCA to Hold EGMS For Stock Split

Jakarta, July 30th, 2021 – BCA continues to closely observe the country’s economic development and its dynamics, including stock market trends. As a member of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, BCA is committed to pushing the domestic capital market growth and has decided for a stock split to provide retail investors wider opportunities to invest in the company.

On July 29th, 2021, the Board of Directors & Commissioners Meeting of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) had approved the company’s decision for a stock split with a ratio of 1:5 (1 old share for 5 new shares). The company’s share (BBCA) par value will be modified from the current Rp62.50 to Rp12.5 after the stock split. For information, the company's share price was approximately Rp30,000 per share unit at the time of this press release's publication.

"With our decision for a stock split, we hope to offer a more affordable share price for our retail investors, especially younger investors who have just started exploring the stock exchange. It is also part of our support to increase trading liquidity in the domestic capital market," said BCA's President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja.

BCA shall comply with the applicable regulations for its stock split and will acquire shareholders' approval at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, scheduled on September 23rd, 2021.
