BCA and BliBli Synergizes to Support Increased Online Business Marketing

Jakarta, 19 February 2021 – The pandemic has led to a shift in consumer behavior, from offline to online. However, there is no denying that entrepreneurs often faced with problems when conducting business online. Understanding this, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is collaborating with PT Global Digital Niaga (Blibli) to present an inspiring webinar to improve online business.

The “Strategies to Increase Sales Amid the Pandemic” serves as a form of BCA’s support through assistance and guidance for borrowers. On this occasion, AVP Seller Engagement & Academy of Blibli Shirley Handoko provided the borrowers with information and online sales strategies. Approximately 100 borrowers were selected to join the webinar. Also attending at the event was EVP of Commercial & SME Business Freddy Iman. 

Citing from the Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) data in 2019, out of 143 million internet users in Indonesia, 86% made their purchase in e-commerce. This suggests that e-commerce can an important channel for business.

“This webinar is a form of our appreciation to borrowers. We hope that SMEs players, who are developing their business, will get new insights and strategies to develop their business,” said Freddy Iman. 

On this special occasion, tips for digitally optimizing online business include:

  • Selection of relevant marketed products;
  • Maximizing promotional features on the sales platform;
  • Keeping and maintaining the services provided to customers;
  • Optimizing the use of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for business products.

As an e-commerce playerwe also saw significant growth in transactions and users during the pandemic. Digital marketing has now grown into a necessity for MSMEs because tens of millions of people visit e-commerce every month.
