BCA's Initiatives in Green Office & Lifestyle
In support of environmental conservation and climate change mitigation, BCA has begun managing energy consumption. BCA has initiated Green Office and lifestyle BCA, including by:
Setting a schedule to gradually turn off elevators
Reducing electricity consumption by using LED lights, setting operational schedules for air conditioners, lights, elevators, computers, and other electronic devices
Using high-efficiency water-cooled chillers at Wisma BCA Foresta
Utilizing renewable energy by installing solar panels on office buildings
Turning off lights during lunch hours in back-office areas
Replacing air conditioner refrigerants with more environmentally friendly alternatives
Actively managing energy consumption, such as electricity, water, refrigerant, and fuel in BCA buildings through preventive and corrective maintenance.
Reusing domestic wastewater from Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) and installing rain harvest tanks in several BCA buildings to reduce water consumption
Using AC inverters and LED lights
Providing Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) in several BCA buildings
Switching from 80gsm HVS paper to 75gsm
Implementing recyclable waste management through collaboration with waste banks in the vicinity of BCA buildings to promote a circular economy in the surrounding area
Using portable tap water in several buildings to reduce the use of bottled drinking water

BCA continues to uphold its commitment to grow responsibly by ensuring operational expansion aligns with prudent resource management. This is realized through increased energy efficiency via various strategic initiatives, such as the participation of 946 office buildings in the Earth Hour campaign, the use of renewable energy through solar panels, and technological innovations in the form of optimized cooling systems in data centers, reflecting BCA's dedication to achieving the highest efficiency standards

Environmental & Biodiversity Conservation
BCA supports the conservation of flora and fauna in Indonesia even though its business activities are not directly related to natural resources. These conservation efforts are important for preserving ecosystems and helping to reduce emissions.
BCA's commitment and efforts to support environmental sustainability in its daily banking activities will continue to be improved and carried out on an ongoing basis. To this day, no environmental complaints have been received directly regarding BCA's banking activities.
