Referring to the letter and request from PT Batavia Prosperindo Aset Manajemen (hereinafter referred to as “Batavia”), as the Investment Manager which manages Batavia Global ESG Sharia Equity USD Mutual Fund (hereinafter referred to as the “BGESEU”) to PT Bank Central Asia Tbk as as the Mutual Fund Selling Agent, we would like to inform the following matters:
- There is a plan to change the BGESEU Mutual Fund’s investment management strategy which previously was actively managed by Batavia with the support of BlackRock (Singapore) Ltd. as the technical advisor to be shifted with passive strategy that seeks to track the FTSE4Good Developed 100 Islamic Net Tax Index as a benchmark;
- The plan to change the BGESEU Mutual Fund’s investment strategy as referred to in item 1 above is further detailed in a notification letter from Batavia to Participation Unit Holders of the BGESEU Mutual Fund, which can be accessed here.
