Customers increasingly need foreign currency for transactions and savings. That is why BCA has introduced the Forex Pocket service on myBCA, so customers can easily transact in multiple foreign currencies.

More good news, effective October 14, 2026, an adjustment will apply to foreign exchange transactions involving the Thai Baht (THB) and United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED).

Transactions in these two foreign currencies are now more flexible due to an expanded range of options.

Adjustments to THB and AED Forex Pocket Transactions

To make foreign currency transactions even more convenient for customers, specifically for THB and AED, BCA has adjusted its transactions in these two currencies.

For example, until October 14, 2026, you still cannot transfer funds to someone else’s Forex Pocket account in THB or AED, whether in the same or a different currency.

However, starting October 14, 2026 you will be able to make these transactions. To make things clearer, here is a summary:

*Please note that transfers from Forex Pocket in THB and AED to a different Forex Pocket via myBCA are currently only available for USD (United States Dollar), and vice versa.

In addition, please note that foreign currency purchases from Rupiah funds into THB and AED Forex Pocket exceeding a certain threshold must be accompanied by supporting documentation in accordance with applicable Bank Indonesia regulations.

Please note that the transactions mentioned above may only be conducted as of October 14, 2026.
