Dear BCA Customers,
In accordance with Board of Governors Regulation No. 7 of 2026 (“PADG No. 7 Tahun 2026”) regarding Amendments to Board of Governors Regulation No. 11 of 2024 on Foreign Exchange Market Transactions and Board of Governors Regulation No. 8 of 2026 (“PADG No. 8 Tahun 2026”) regarding the Third Amendment to Board of Governors Regulation No. 21/28/PADG/2019 on Monitoring of Bank and Customer Foreign Exchange Transactions, adjustments will be made to the foreign exchange (forex) transaction threshold provisions, which will take effect on April 1, 2026. These adjustments include:
- Adjustment of the threshold for the purchase of foreign exchange against the Rupiah in cash from the previous USD100,000 per participant per month to USD50,000 per participant per month.
- An increase in the transaction threshold for the sale of Domestic Non-Deliverable Forward (DNDF)/Forward from USD5,000,000 to USD10,000,000 per transaction.
- An increase in the transaction threshold for the purchase and sale of swap from USD5,000,000 to USD10,000,000 per transaction.
- Strengthening of Foreign Exchange Transaction Reporting (LLD) requirements through an adjustment to the threshold for supporting documentation requirements for outgoing foreign currency fund transfers, from the previous USD100,000 to USD50,000, effective April 2026.
