As part of its commitment to supporting the digitalization of public services and providing convenience for the community, BCA strengthens its strategic collaboration with the West Java Samsat Supervisory Board, particularly BAPENDA (Regional Revenue Agency) of West Java, in offering more modern and efficient payment channels for Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB).
Previously, West Java residents could pay PKB through BCA ATMs, enabling fast transactions without having to visit a Samsat office. Now, this innovation has been enhanced with the introduction of a new feature: PKB payment via the Sapawarga application on Sambara using BCA Virtual Account.
With the Virtual Account feature, taxpayers simply enter the identification number or payment code obtained from the Sapawarga application, and the system automatically displays the PKB bill to be paid. This process is more accurate, reduces the potential for input errors, and can be done anytime, 24/7.
The collaboration between BCA, the West Java Samsat Supervisory Board, and especially BAPENDA West Java reflects the synergy between the banking sector and government agencies in expanding access to digital-based public services. This initiative is expected to make it easier for the public to fulfill their annual vehicle tax obligations while encouraging improved tax compliance and optimizing regional revenue.
