The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the tourism industry, including tourism villages. Many of these villages experienced a dramatic tourism slowdown, resulting in declining revenues and demotivated operators.
For this reason, to increase the motivation of tourism villagers to stay afloat and to foster their creative minds in the face of the new normal, BCA holds Tourism Village Award 2021.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, the competition, which commenced in April, will be divided into the following four categories:
- Nature-Based Tourism Village
- Culture-Based Tourism Village
- Creative-Based Tourism Village
- Digital-Based Tourism Village
