Laughter Galore with Bankers, Journalists, and Artists on Ketoprak Jurnalis: "Ratu Kalinyamat: Throne, Blood, and Love"

Jakarta, 30 June 2023 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) remains dedicated to the preservation of Indonesian culture. On this occasion, BCA once again took part in the performance of Ketoprak Jurnalis "Ratu Kalinyamat: Throne, Blood, and Love" at Gedung Kesenian Jakarta (GKJ) on Friday (30/6). This event is a collaborative effort involving various parties, including senior journalists, banking executives, members of state institutions, and other professionals from the financial industry.

As a national bank, BCA considers this event as a tremendous opportunity to reintroduce Indonesian art and cultural products, not only as spectators but also as active participants, to a broader audience. The event received a warm welcome from the audience, who filled the performance venue and responded with laughter to the jokes delivered by the actors on stage.

Collaboration of Culture Wrapped in Humor and Joy – The Ketoprak Jurnalis performance titled "Ratu Kalinyamat: Throne, Blood, and Love" at Gedung Kesenian Jakarta (GKJ) on Friday (30/6) drew a large crowd. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) also lends its support to the preservation of traditional culture, with the participation of several senior journalists, banking professionals, and members of state institutions in the Ketoprak performance. In the performance directed by Ketoprak artist Aries Mukadi and led by Infobank Chief Editor Eko B. Supriyanto (standing - second from the right), BCA Director Antonius Widodo portrayed Pangeran Adiwijaya Dipati Pajang (standing - second from the left), BCA Director Haryanto T. Budiman portrayed Pangeran Sutawijaya (standing - far left), and EVP Center of Digital BCA Wani Sabu took on the role of Garwa Sultan Aceh. As part of its steadfast commitment to nurturing Indonesian art and culture, BCA actively engages in the preservation of Indonesian art and amplifies the voices of Ketoprak artists to a broader audience, particularly the younger generation.
