Jakarta, 4 March 2023 - The BCA 2023 Sports and Arts Week (Porseni) was the peak of the 66th birthday celebration of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja and the entire management attended the event to appreciate the achievements of the series of events. Thousands of employees were also present at Senayan Park in Jakarta on Saturday (4/3/2023).
Porseni BCA is an event for BCA employees in Indonesia to showcase their talents and interests in sports and arts. The event includes various sports activities such as soccer, futsal, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and e-sports like Mobile Legend and PUBG. Additionally, there are art activities such as vocal groups, bands, modern dance, and crafts.
Porseni BCA 2023 also conducted virtual walking and cycling competitions. The total distance covered in these competitions was converted into the number of tree seedlings to be planted by BCA through Bakti BCA CSR activities. This aligns with BCA's commitment to environmental conservation, which is a part of its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) program.
President Director of BCA Jahja Setiaatmadja said, “Porseni BCA 2023 is special because from this event we can plant about 40,000 trees based on the distance covered by the virtual walking and cycling competitions, in line with our commitment to support the company's ESG agenda.”
Porseni BCA 2023 has been running since January 13, 2023 and ended on Saturday (4/3). This closing ceremony also marked BCA's 66th anniversary. Blood donation activities, community medical services, and BCA Expoversary are a number of events that adorned the company's anniversary series this year.
“This Porseni aims to encourage BCA employees to live healthy, fit and creative lives together as an implication of the spirit of work-life balance. This event is also a great opportunity to build cooperation and sportsmanship among employees and teams at BCA,” concluded Jahja.
