Encouraging National Economic Recovery, BCA Will Re-hold Indonesia Knowledge Forum (IKF)

Jakarta,Oktober 05, 2021 – The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit the world and Indonesia is still not over yet, and it keeps becoming a challenge for various sectors, including the economic sector. Based on the Indonesia Economic Prospect – World Bank June 2021 report, the Indonesian economy is expected to start rebounding in 2021 and gradually strengthen in 2022. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BCA) has also observed this condition by carrying out a variety of economic recovery efforts. Recently, through BCA Learning Service, BCA will re-hold Indonesia Knowledge Forum (IKF) X – 2021.

IKF is an annual agenda from BCA that brings several speakers from various sectors together in Indonesia to discuss conditions that need to be anticipated, especially in the business and economic fields. This is the 10th annual IKF held by BCA and is the second year that IKF is held virtually. Although it will be held virtually, this does not become a barrier for various parties to share knowledge through this forum. This year, IKF will carry the theme “Towards BUSINESS REBOUND: Accelerate Economic Recovery through Knowledge”.

“We understand that the current economic condition has become a challenge for various parties and our collective participation is needed to rise and build a prosperous economy. BCA, which has become a close part of the community, has also taken part in improving public education about the current economic conditions through the IKF X – 2021. In this event, participants will understand the prospects for Indonesia's economic growth by 2022 from several speakers," said Cyrillus Harinowo as Commissioner of BCA and Supervisor of BCA Learning Service.

“IKF becomes an interesting forum for the whole community to view the current and future economic prospectus. BCA's consistency in presenting IKF is our commitment to provide comprehensive and strategic education for the community. Hopefully this year's IKF can provide new insights for all participants who join and become a source of educational information," said Jahja Setiaatmadja as President Director of BCA.

This year, the IKF will be held with the concept of a full day forum on Thursday, October 7, 2021 through ikf.co.id page. IKF will be divided into several seminar sessions in the main hall. A number of speakers in this forum include Indonesian Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Indonesian Minister of Industry M. Lutfi, Chairman of Ancora Group Gita Wijarwan, President of GoTo Patrick Cao, President Director of PT Bio Farma (Persero) Honesti Basyir, President Director of PT Aneka Gas Tbk. – Samator Group Rachmat Harsono, Group CEO & Co-Founder of Samara Media and Entertainment Ben Soebiakto, Creative Director of Ceritera.id Edward Suhardi, Commissioner of the Indonesia Stock Exchange Pandu Sjahrir, President Director of PT Schroders Investment Management Indonesia Michael T. Tjoajadi, and Economist Dr. Raden Pardede and dozens of other speakers. In addition to the seminar session in the main hall, there will be a bonus mini stage which will be filled by equally qualified speakers at this year’s IKF X.

Director of BCA Lianawaty Suwono also invited the community to immediately join this activity. “IKF X – 2021 is an inspiring activity and will provide broader insight into the current economic perspectives in Indonesia. Dozens of speakers from their respective fields will provide exclusive education for participants. BCA also presents other interesting activities through this year's IKF," said Lianawaty Suwono.

IKF X – 2021 not only presents seminars from several speakers, but also provides other interesting activities such as a Virtual Networking Lounge for communities who want to discuss available topics and a Virtual expo (virtual exhibition) from industry players in the fields of Finance, Investment, Learning partners and Technology.
