BCA Investor Fund Account (RDN) Reaches 1 Million Accounts

Jakarta, 20 July 2021 – Public interest in investing in the capital market continues to grow. The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) recorded that the number of new investors throughout 2020 had grown by 53.47% from the total number of investors in 2019(1). PT. Bank Central Asia, Tbk (BCA) as a Payment Bank and Investor Fund Account Administrator Bank (RDN), recorded a significant growth in the number of RDN in recent years.

Director of BCA John Kosasih said, “Currently BCA has recorded the opening of more than 1 million RDN accounts, which places BCA as the holder of the largest RDN market share in Indonesia. This achievement is supported by financial literacy and digital transformation that is carried out on an ongoing basis.”

John added that in line with the digital transformation that has already been implemented, BCA bridges the needs of Securities Companies and the public to transact in the capital market by providing various online RDN opening services through the Securities Company application, which is integrated with the BCA system. With this digital service, the RDN opening process can be executed in a short, convenient, and safe time manner, so that customers can directly transact in the capital market.

In addition to opening RDN online, BCA also provides online fund portfolio monitoring facilities for investors through the “RDN info” feature on BCA Mobile and Klik BCA, as well as through e-statements sent monthly to customers. BCA has also been connected to the AKSes KSEI facility which is integrated with the KSEI system to monitor all investments and RDN through Klik BCA.
