Continuing to optimize digital banking, BCA increases the transaction limit for BagiBagi feature to IDR 50 million/day

Jakarta, 12 February 2021 – The commitment of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) to provide service excellence to loyal customers continues to be carried out through its digital banking services. This time, BCA has optimized the BagiBagi feature on BCA mobile in order to provide customer satisfaction in banking transactions.

Today (12/02) the BagiBagi limit is increased for each BCA mobile user to Rp 50 million/day with a transaction limit of 25x/day (maximum Rp 10 million/transaction). This limit increase will be valid until February 28, 2021. Previously, BCA mobile users had a maximum limit of 10 share transactions per day with an accumulated nominal of up to Rp 10 million/day.

BCA presents the BagiBagi feature, a feature to share money through the BCA mobile application with friends/family who have the Sakuku application. The amount of money distributed can be the same proportion (Fixed), or different proportion (Random). The BagiBagi feature can be used by loyal customers to share money during Chinese New Year, Eid, Birthday, or as a form of appreciation to friends/family. Customers can also choose the design of the greeting card that will appear in the Sakuku application for the BagiBagi recipient.

“In line with our commitment, Always by Your Side, BCA continues to listen to customers about their growing need for digital transactions. Therefore, coinciding with the Lunar New Year 2572 this time, we have increased the transaction limit for this BagiBagi feature. It's simple and easy, customers can share the BagiBagi link via chat applications or other social media. This BagiBagi link will be valid for 1x24 hours starting from the time the link was created by the sender," added Santoso.

To use this feature, the method is quite easy, customers can install/update the BCA mobile application → open the m-BCA menu → open the BagiBagi menu → select a greeting card → select random or fixed mode by determining the total nominal, number of recipients, greeting, and account source of funds, then select send → select continue and enter the m-BCA PIN → press the “Yuk, Bagikan” button.

For recipients, they will receive a link that will direct to Sakuku as an application to receive BagiBagi money. The recipients must install/update the Sakuku application to receive the BagiBagi money and greeting cards shared by the sender.

For information, the BagiBagi feature has been used more than 50,000 times by users or customers with a transaction value of IDR9 billion as of December 2020.
