Not only that, BCA is also committed to providing value added to the Indonesian people, including through its support for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector. The program was followed by 386 enthused participants.

“The Covid-19 pandemic poses challenges to the Indonesian economy, including to the MSME sector. However, as is known, the government continues to promote the National Economic Recovery strategy through various policies. Seeing this, BCA is motivated to organize a webinar to give some insight into the economy outlook in the future as well as its potentials for the MSME players to be more optimistic in welcoming new business opportunities,” explained Henry.

MSMEs play an important role in Indonesia as the sector remains one of the pillars of the national economy. The 2020 MSME Webinar "Economic Outlook: Remain Optimistic Amid the Pandemic" was held as a form of support for BCA customers, especially the MSME segment, to obtain information about the world economic situation as well as Indonesia. The program is expected to be a reference from which businesses can determine their strategies moving forward.

“The webinar we are holding today serves as a form of BCA’s support for the MSME sector, which will be continuously encouraged to promote the industry amid the recovery process from the Covid-19 pandemic. This resonates with the government’s efforts to rebalance the Indonesian economy. BCA firmly believes that we can pass this difficult time with persistent optimism and determination,” Henry concluded.
